Everything in and around the entire hotel was under construction. The pool was dug out and being re-done.

the floor of the elevator was peeling up and looked like it was unsafe. I really expected much more from a Holiday Inn property.

From the minute I entered the hotel, I was treated as a guest. The individuals who were in charge of my check-in ensured I immediately had a room available for my stay. There was road construction on the highway in front of the hotel, and the hotel actually had individuals working on their parking lot in the back of the hotel. Surprisingly, I was not bothered by noise.

My room was very clean, with all items I needed easily accessible. I was nicely greeted by two cleaning individuals when I headed downstairs for my breakfast, which offered guests a variety of foods!

This was an average stay. Hotel seems to be getting a little tired. Floors were not as clean as should be. Some wear and tear (door handle on closet broken, several holes in wall in shower)

Staff were very good.

The staff were excellent. The property was in really poor condition. Tile floors were really sticky, even in the room. The carpeted areas looked like they haven't been cleaned in a while. Room felt dirty, saw fingerprints on counters, fridge, lights, desk, etc. Didn't feel like it had been thoroughly cleaned. Thermostat didn't work for air or heat. Hallways were poorly lit and the stairs had even less light. Elevator was working but looked pretty shabby and dirty. Laundry room had really old washer and dryer that looked like even they hadn't been cleaned. Side door didn't latch properly, so property wasn't secured at night. Overall a bad experience for us and probably would not choose this hotel again. Once again, staff was friendly and available when needed, just need to do something about the overall condition of the property.

The person at the desk was friendly enough, but the hotel itself could use a good scrubbing and a lot of remodeling. A pool should not be advertised if it is perpetually being "maintenanced.". For some reason, I received a "handicapped" room. Lots of stainless steel bars on the walls, a bench bath seat, and a telephone on the wall by the toilet. Im not bothered by it except - shouldn't a room like that be kept open for a handicapped guest? And , in my opinion, the room for those with disabilities, should not be smack in the middle of a hallway. The room my granddaughter and I stayed in was definitely. NOT clean. The window ledge, the window shade, and the top of the a.c.unit under the window were all covered with the dead bodies of small flying insects. Gnats, yes, but others I could not identify. I noticed that one pillowcases was dirty , so I took it outta the case and checked the pillow. There was a blood stain on the pillow. I checked the others. One more pillow with a blood stain. That's half of the pillows. The entryway tile was sticky, and the bathroom - well, I wouldn't leave my home bathroom looking like that. Stainless steel items need stainless steel cleaner. The hinges on the shower bench seat are rusty and there's pink goo under then.. toilet seat was not clean, the showerhead had electrical tape on it, and the t.v. lost signal several times. The only thing that impressed me was the extensive breakfast. But I would rather have a clean room& pool.
