Clean, safe, comfort. However, breakfast was terrible. Tried the eggs, breakfast potatoes, sausage, and grits. I couldn’t eat any of it. Walked next door to Waffle House.

Overnight Family Trip
Good, clean hotel. No issues that would cause me not to stay but some minor aesthetic flaws. A/C was nice and cold, mini fridge worked great, beds comfy and clean. The only minor things were that there were some holes left in the wall where the a/c unit had, apparently, been moved in an update and not patched up, some wallpaper was bubbling (though it was obviously new,) and the water pressure was pretty low. But convenient for our trip purposes and would stay here again. Hope they get these few minor items fixed up!

Family visit and reunion
Came into Houma to visit with my family and attend my 50th. High school reunion. This hotel is managed very well. All of the employees were very friendly and helpful. It appeared that they enjoyed working there. I definitely will stay here again.

It wasn't their A game this weekend
Typically have a good experience with Hampton in Houma. This weekend didn't work out like that. Trouble with water pressure, trouble with hot water, Saturday morning they ran out of food for the complimentary breakfast. Housekeeping around the breakfast area left a little to be desired, kind of dirty. Generally I have great experience to this hotel but it was a bad weekend for some reason

Not up to Hampton Inn par. Stayed 3 nights. First morning awoke and attempted shower at 6:15AM, to find water barely even lukewarm at best. Attempted shower again at 7:30AM, to no avail. Contacted front desk staff who informed that maintenance would soon arrive and they would contact me. That never happened. Then was told the GM would contact me, but that never happened either. The only time you have hope of a hot shower is either in the evening, or possibly well before 6:00AM. Fixture in shower didnt function correctly, as the further to the hot the dial is turned, the less water pressure you get, until it actually turns OFF. Trash can size stingy. Window was covered in mildew / algae. Elevator floor not vacuumed during entirety of our stay. Breakfast buffet has good variety, but the food was very 'blah' at best. Manager should have contacted when we were there about H2O, when they could have done something to improve the stay going forward, but did not. Manager has not contacted still, & a generic response, replying to my review will be a pathetic and insufficient excuse/attempt.The time to do something to rectify has passed.
Sadly, this Hampton Inn is suffering due to an industry-wide race to the bottom. With the challenges COVID brought about, the hospitality industry at large has felt justified at together lowering the bar on guest expectations. Gone are the days where you do not get what you pay for, and are also refunded accordingly. Going above & beyond are history.
