We have stayed in several Country Inn & Suites before. They have been dated and not always the cleanest, but never this level of ick. Our first room - I checked the sheets and there were so many different-colored stains (brown, red, yellow) and what looked like mold spots. It was unhealthy! I went to ask for another room. The woman at the front desk came to look at the sheets and agreed that she would not stay in that room. The second room had black mold in the bathroom and an air freshener scent so strong that my nose started burning and I could hardly breathe. But the sheets were better than the first. So glad my son was not with us; he would have had such a hard time breathing with his asthma. Unhealthy stay for sure. Will not be back.

Our second time here will be our last. I am highly allergic to bed bugs so if a hotel room has them, ill know right away. Checking for bed bugs is one of the first things i do, but these buggers weren't hiding in the typical spots. I woke up to intense itching on my arms and they were all over my pillow. Several. I grabbed two in my fingers, took em down to the front desk; after ringing the bell for 5 minutes, I showed the front desk staff the welts on my arms and the proof literally in my hands; he was very kind and apologetic and gave me a full refund. He said that they do treat the room when they are aware. Hotel stayers beware.

The room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Price was great. Location was excellent. Close to St. Louis but still far enough away to not be in the middle of town. Close to many shopping and dining options. Only complaints were the pool was green and smelled and the breakfast could have had more options.

Less expensive than other hotels but we typically stay at this brand. Nice lobby, friendly service & pretty clean. However, the room was a little different. Chair had what looked like “butt” marks on the seat cushion & the bathtub had what looked like …well I can’t say. Look at the pictures. Breakfast left a lot to be desired too. I did pass the pictures onto management. As in another review, I believe this hotel was sold off with the right to keep the brand name. We have never had such a poor room as this. The next one a few days later was much worse!

The Hotel was great. The management was very helpful!! The breakfast was full, I didn't know what was wrong with my xbox but it was not connecting to the wifi, The management came and helped me out on the spot, that was great, the rooms nice and clean.

Came in from Springfield Missouri and had a lovely stay. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast was great and i loved making my own waffle with the iron! The receptionist Tina was awesome and very helpful! This will be my spot the next time i come to town!

Would definitely stay at this hotel again. Courteous staff, clean and smoke free. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Coming off a 7-hour drive through heavy rain...this was a welcoming rest stop. Was provided a room close to the elevator due to walking limitations without any hassles. Excellent customer service.
