Like Holiday Inn Express but this one had some age/management issues. Some lights in the parking lot were out at night. The carpet in the hallways was dirty (2 days not vacuumed). And the door to the room required your shoulder to open (literally). When you looked at the door jam where the lock goes into the plate it had cardboard. We mentioned this before on another check in survey from you but nothing was said/done. But the room was comfortable (so was the bed-important!) and the breakfast was was fine. And the employees were very nice but not sure why they would think some of these issues were acceptable.

The front desk staff were not the least bit friendly or welcoming. When we entered our room, it had not been cleaned, beds unmade, beer, liquor bottles, and garbage everywhere. The manager was great and had the room cleaned immediately. The cleaning staff were also very good.
The microwave was making such a weird noise that we had to unplug it, and the TV reception was so poor it was unwatchable, nor could we sign in to any of our streaming services on it. Additionally, they were slow to refill breakfast items when they were empty.

The pool was closed for “maintenance”
The room cleaner came in to change trash can but didn’t make the bed. Seemed to have rummaged through my belongings.
Carpets smelled.
Every surface was greasy.

Okay place to rest your bones. Stains here and there like the rug and drapes.
Wallpaper had some peeling and hacked repairs.
It looks like they have a guy on staff that does repairs without the skills required to do them correctly. But hey, at least they're trying.
No bugs or funny smells so I'll call it a win.
If they do a remodel (it's due), they'll probably raise the rates accordingly
