This is a very authentic community and its members are wonderful hosts. We stayed at Salik's house and we got to meet him and his family for a few days, a great way to understand how they live in this part of Nepal. Salik was also our guide in the jungle, really great eyes to spot wildlife and a very commited with conservation and providing the best possible experience to us. His house was remodeled for hosting guests and the rooms where very clean and comfortable enough, with hot shower. We had meals cooked by his wife that were delicious too! We also enjoyed the evening cultural program, it was great! I totally recommend coming to Bardiya to spot wildlife and nature & stay at the homestays.
