Our little home-away-from-home in Reggio Calabria was absolutely perfect for my husband and me. The studio apartment is very clean and well stocked with everything one needs. The bed is very comfortable and the apartment is nice & quiet for a good night’s sleep. Beyond that, the owner provides coffee, milk, breakfast pastries, house slippers and a detailed book of local information to make one’s stay in Reggio enjoyable. We were only steps away from the beautiful waterfront, and we enjoyed our evening strolls, along with the local residents. The town has many nice shops & restaurants on a pedestrian-only street a couple of blocks above the waterfront, and it was another great place to enjoy the evenings with others. The archaeological museum is filled with amazing historical treasures. The apartment is an easy walk to the ferry for a trip to Sicily, and it is only a short drive to the central train station. The owner is pleasantly communicative, listening intently for any guest need and offering his assistance. We will remember our stay in Reggio Calabria most fondly.
