This is a terrible hotel. It is in dire need or remodeling. There are numerous issues with this property. For example, outdoor door locks do not work. Even the wireless internet does not work. My colleague and I stayed here for two trips with a total of four separate rooms. The rooms smell of mold and mildew, and most everything in the room is scratched or dinged up. This hotel should be closed down until it can be gutted out and completely remodeld. Marriott should be ashamed to allow this property to continue to operate.

The hotel is filthy. There were two bags of garbage under the sink left from the previous guest. The accessible shower was stained and small hairs from previous guest. The lady at front desk was doing her best and offered to clean the shower, but that is not her job. She could not give me chemicals to clean it, but gave me towels and extra palmolive. We could not even eat breakfast as we were afraid of what might be in the food. After about 3 pm, it appears that there is only one employee in the hotel, and although the front desk lady did her best, it is certainly not her job to take care of everything. The hotel is very poorly managed. Just because the sign says Marriott, does not guarantee cleanliness or quality. I have spent over 2,000 night in Marriott and I am just about done with them.

Sadly, this hotel is well below the standards you expect from a Residence Inn, or any Marriott chain. We arrived to our room to find portable A/C unit since the primary room A/C was down for repairs. (We called to inquire about changing rooms and was told that 30+ rooms have the same portable A/C.). The carpet has stains; the room (and entire hotel) had no bars of soap in the room; there was a hair ball in the bathroom sink; and many many other signs of poor maintenance and housekeeping. I ask for another room - but was told no others were available since I had arrived late. Marriott should either remodel, sell, or shut down this location.

This place is disgusting!!!! Although the person at the desk was very nice and helpful the property is well below Marriott standards. When we first entered I immediately did not have a good feeling about this place. After check in we got into the elevator and the floor was a mess. We got to our floor and the hallway smelled and it was dimly light ( I guess to hard the poor condition of the hotel). Our room smelled like a cross of smoke ( smoke free property) and pet urine. We put our bags on the counter. I wouldn’t dare put them on the floor. I went to open the curtains and the room darkening shades were all torn. We decided we would not stay in that room. I went to the front desk and the clerk said we could check into another room. Before moving everything I said I wanted to see another room. She took me to two more rooms and they were in as bad as the first. She said she would note to housekeeping the smell and the torn curtains. Seriously, no one else ever noticed this! Doubt it. They just don’t care about the condition of the room for their guest. At this point we decided we would not stay there. Luckily, there is a Fairfield across the driveway and we went there. A much better choice.

Pool and hot tub are out of order, no A/C in the lobby, the hotel is old and outdated, the key entry on the outside does not work, we got locked out of our room because of a faulty piece of crap un-maintained door lock, the internet is intermittent and I’m trying to overlook all the dirt and general cleanliness that has not been addressed in a long time. I’ve stayed in 3 RI’s in the last 7 days and this place is by far the biggest dump we’ve stayed in. This is a VERY sub-par property and Marriott should be ASHAMED!! You can likely do better with an alternate brand in the vicinity with similar amenities.

Locked out of room three times in two weeks. Had to change rooms; door lock inoperable. Hotel is on US 40, very noisy.. Pool and hot tub are ‘“out of service”. Room had disposal and drainage issues. Maintenance was good when they arrived but desk not so much. Had my carry-out dinner sitting in hall while waiting to get room opened. Front desk staff ineffective, inefficient and unresponsive. Do not recommend.

We arrived for our one-night stay on the early side and the front desk was kind enough to give us a room. The room was clean and looked good at first, but we kept finding little problems. I opened one of the cabinets in the kitchen and the handle came off in my hand. When we closed the curtains at bedtime, we discovered that the blackout shades behind the curtains had huge holes in them. (See picture.) Got in the shower the next morning to find that housekeeping had not filled the soap dispenser. We had hoped to use the hot tub for hydrotherapy on my sore knee but the hot tub was not working. (There was no sign telling us so, we had to go to the front desk to find out.) When we checked out, the very nice person at the front desk thanks us for letting her know about the problems and offered us Bonvoy points as compensation. It was a nice gesture, we appreciated it, and it took this review up a couple of stars. The kind people who work at this hotel are obviously listening and trying, but management needs to spend the time and money to fix the physical problems with the property. Read the reviews from the last few months - they all say the same thing!

It gives me no joy to write that this place has no redeeming qualities. As a Marriott Gold member, I’ve stayed at many Marriott properties of different price points. This one is the absolute worst I have encountered. The furniture is ancient, stained, and beat up, the carpet and shower are filthy, and the air conditioner cannot cool the room. The side door leading to the parking lot is broken and propped open, and they tried to give me the room directly next to it. No concern for guest safety at all. Despite being a Gold member, I was not offered a room upgrade until I refused to stay in the room next to the open exterior door. Aside from the shabby conditions, I would never recommend this place to safety conscious female travelers like myself.

Front desk clerk very friendly and competent. We received a high floor per our request and she had rolls of quarters to use in laundry room for purchase. The laundry room was ok but only had 1 working washer and dryer. The hotel was clean but needs a remodel. Bed was decent and we had plenty of amenities to use in our studio room. Included Breakfast was ok-typical hotel food but there was something for everyone.
