Construction at ten pm at the back of hotel. They forgot to put towels in the room. I don’t understand why you pay extra for pets but then get a room with half patched drywall and torn up carpet. Beds were comfy and pillows perfect! And there’s one of those automated coffee machines. Staff were very friendly.

The room was very clean. A very comfortable bed and the shower was incredible. Great staff. The only downside is that there is minimal handicapped parking, and no elevator. Would stay again if we were visiting Courtenay.

It was a nice stay. Rooms were clean, building looks nicely renovated. Only a couple of suggestions. Bathrooms are small. Bottles of water in the fridge.

The room i stayed in had damaged light fixtures, switch covers and fresh drywall putty covering holes that was not painted. The bathroom plumbing would "scream" when the upstairs guests would use the bathroom. It definitely was not worth the price

Checking in was fast with a very friendly clerk at the ready. Once in our room, we noticed a fowl smell and brought it to the clerks attention. He brought us a room deodorizer that helped but was a temporary fix. The smell wouldn't go away so we had asked for the spray an additional 2 times. On top of that issue, we had a mouse in our room that left droppings in the bathroom. I called the front desk to have our room cleaned up and looked at. All room service did was take out the dirty towels, empty the trash and make the beds. Nothing was scrubbed in the bathroom and mouse poop was still on the bathroom baseboards and in our shower. Checkout was 9/14 and not a single member of management has reached out to address these concerns.
