I've done a lot of traveling for work and can usually depend on a Holiday Inn Express to be a step or two above the competition. I'd rank this place a 2 only. It's an old hotel that has been renovated in the past, but the renovation is also very dated. The carpeting is old and gross! Definitely not a place to take your socks off. Stains on the ceiling, walls were beat up and the carpet had a bad patch job. Nothing special at this place.

Requested late checkout and approved till 3pm !
At 11am exactly , room service ENTERED room while SLEEPING !!! Not only invasion of PRIVACY , WHY offer late check out when NOT observed by HOLIDAY INN ?!?!?!?!?!

check-in was frustrating). Room was clean.
Coffee supplies were inadequate in room.
The shower was VERY dangerous, with NO grab bars and a slippery tub and floor.
The bathroom sink didn't drain.
Two nice beds but nowhere to put 2 big suitcases! That was a major problem.
Breakfast was good. We appreciated that.

Room was too small for the amount and size of the furniture. There was a chaise preventing easy access to one side of the bed and the desk had a useless tier above it encroaching on room space.
The parking lot was extremely tight with no turn around. You had to drive down a row and if there were no vacant spots, as it was twice during my stay, you had to back out and try another row (repeating the process if that row was full.

Shower was dirty on arrival. Black pieces in the shower head, hair on the floor, and also coffee stains in the sink. Requested a cleaning of the shower. Cleveland, I think his name is, went and looked with head maid. Cleaned the shower head offered nothing more. Then I need to be at the docks at 7:15 am on Saturday. I went down hoping to have just a little food at 6:50. Pretty low expectations since i know im early. Maybe some cereal, or fruit. The eggs are ready, the sausage etc. I start to grab some, I'm told it's not open yet, I explain I have to leave shortly just need a little. They CLOSED the metal doors so I could not access the food. What kind of customer service is that?! 10 min. I can't eat perfectly good food that's ready because of 10 minutes?!? Despite the fact it will sit out for 3 HOURS?!? AGAIN, Clevelend did nothing stating "well its not open yet". Earwigs in the bathroom. My room was next to a storage room. Something isn't functioning correctly. Sounded like a tennis ball bouncing in the next room nearly 24/7. The curtains are great for the blackout you usually want, but for the lack of lights in the room a sheer curtain would be nice so I can have privacy and light on the second floor without a restaurant looking directly in. Never returning.

Property starting to show its age, my room was a bit musty smelling but overall, it was a very nice stay.

淋浴间的瓷砖缝里长满了霉菌。我整晚都没法睡觉休息。
我向客服投诉，酒店管理层告诉我，因为我是通过第三方供应商预订的房间，他们无法退款。他们可以提供未来免费入住的机会。我怎么可能还会想再住那里呢？
