这次只是公路旅行中的一个中途休息站。预订时，我们看到了许多关于这家酒店的负面或令人失望的评论，这让我们有些担忧。但我们的入住体验非常好。2024年8月23日星期五晚上8点左右我们抵达时，办理入住的前台接待员非常棒。她友好、热情，很乐意与我们打交道。房间很干净，配备了所有你期望的物品。

我们入住期间唯一的问题是冷水澡。后来我们得知是水管破裂了，酒店在第一时间进行了维修。我们最初以为是因为当时有很多消防员入住酒店并几乎同时抵达，导致热水需求过大。这种事情偶尔会发生。如果你是房主，你就能理解有些事情酒店也无法控制。如果问题持续了一天以上，我可能会要求赔偿。但酒店一得知问题就立即处理了，甚至连夜工作。他们能做的也就这么多了。

周六早上6点40分我们退房时，前台接待员和为我们办理入住的年轻女士一样愉快和乐于助人。早餐很不错，和我们入住其他许多智选假日酒店的预期完全一致。我们将来还会选择这家酒店！

The staff was great. Check-in and out was a breeze. The room was very clean. The location was quiet with a very well lit parking lot and close to restaurants and stores.

I stayed 4 nights. The best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. The room and service was not up to par with the price paid though. The refrigerator never stopped running and it froze everything I put in it even after placing food at different heights / shelves and trying different thermostat settings. The rooms do not keep out noise. You can hear talking through the walls and doors closing will keep you up all night without ear plugs. Childress is busy right now with AI data centers under construction but for the price paid the room construction should be better to make the rooms more quiet. The maid service was inconsistent. One evening when I came back the trash can had been emptied but no bag was replaced and I did not want to use it without a bag and make the can itself dirty as that would be disrespectful. They would also replace the bathroom rug each day but not the other towels and rags. The window blind was always left cracked about 8 inches and you could not tell as there is another slightly see-thru drape that covers it. It is hard to notice if you return to your room when dark and it looks right into the bed, so someone outside got to see a show until I noticed after the 2nd night. I closed it and someone kept opening it slightly every day. Just keep it closed if the guest closes it.

We were traveling with our audit granddaughter in a longer trip. The desk clerk was very friendly and nice and got us checked in quickly. The room was very comfortable and quiet. We had a good night’s rest.

The stay was fine. Check out wasn’t. I checked in Thursday. Gave id and credit card. Was given keys. Then my sister in law checked in, gave id and credit card and was given keys. Friday when we checked out, she checked out first. Then I checked out. I was asked which card I wanted to use and I said I went through this when I checked in. Then she said I must have reserved on one card and checked in with another. I said no, just one card. She gave me last 4 of 2 cards and one was not mine and I was concerned why someone else’s card was on my room. When I got my receipt it had my sister in laws name. I asked her what card number was on her receipt. It was my name and card. Receipt I was given had her bame and my card. Went back to desk. Was told we must have swapped rooms. We did not swap key cards or rooms. She said she would credit one charge on my account and charge my sister in law one room. At this point I have 4 charges on my card. I should only be charged 1 night in 1 room. Will see if this gets sorted out without me spending a lot of time!
