I was surprised that the carpet in the room was so dirty. I definitely did not walk on it in bare feet. The staff was friendly and the breakfast area was clean. I appreciated that turkey sausage patties were offered along with the ham.

I enjoyed that fact that this hotel was in close proximity to the local police station, but it was not easy to see the hotel from the street and had to make a u-turn to get into the parking lot. Check in was terrible, the attendant on duty when we checked in was not very good and it took him a few tries before we did get checked in. The room was clean and comfortable, but not enough lighting in the room, it was a bit dark. Another issue was the tv, there is a sensor that needs to be visible in order to change channels, but it was not. There also was a problem with the toilet in the room, it kept running the entire time we were in the room. Lastly the breakfast was very good and the women was always helping the customers and constantly replenishing the food options.

First room was dirty and smelly. Second room was cleaner, but no housekeeping one day of the stay and no extra toilet paper and tissue.
