Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had what we needed. Even the breakfast had healthy options. It’s next to a mall and several ***** malls, which is convenient but does not lend itself to great views out of you hotel window. That said, we had a great 3 night stay.

The front desk staff didn’t admit mistake and was rigid when giving us a room that was not we had requested for and refused to change. When we asked her to escalate and to ask her manager to help resolve this, she claimed she was the manager and refused to do anything including contacting her manager. She was not considerate and not accommodating when we had arrived in the hotel a couple of hours earlier kindly asking if we could get a favor to get an earlier checking in, and declined straight by only repeating 4pm or after without even showing any wiliness to help (other hotels including other Marriott’s would have tried to check on computer and would try all effort to happily accommodate in such a 2-hour early timeline.) Other than the experience with this staff, other hotel staff were very kind and helpful and considerate and their service were good. Some hotel facilities should be maintained better, e.g. the room temperature control should be adjustable so temperature can be adjusted to higher in cold days or the cold blown air and the noise from the air condition machine can be stopped (or the cold air flow from it can be directed away from the bed in cold days). We have been a Marriott hotels loyal customers and wish this hotel can hire capable staff on front desk to meet and help customers. Thanks!
