Doors in the outside and homeless person slept against door all night. Scared and horrible location. We were frightened to leave and had to step over homeless person to get out of room.

The printer doesn’t work. There is no free breakfast. They state the kitchen is under construction but it seems they need to hire someone to cook.

The GM is a sneaky thief. Further, it is possible AND highly probable that she is pocketing the money for erroneous charges. She charged 50 dollars when I was 12 noon to renew rather than 11 am- even after I called her and advised my situation. When I left she and staff had an immaculate clean room - better than I walked into the first day. The fact there was a dirty weave that I found under the bed says it all. Actually her stealing my deposit was the last word.

I stayed at the Sonesta ES Central from July 10–13, 2025, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The condition of the room was extremely disappointing. The couch was heavily stained—so much so that I didn’t feel comfortable sitting on it. The carpet was worn and discolored, with some areas appearing almost black from age or dirt. The room had a constant smoky, damp smell that made it feel musty and unclean. One of the towel sets provided was visibly dirty, and the bedding had stains on both the sheets and top covers. The second bedroom had black spots on the ceiling, which raised concerns about possible mold. The property itself also seemed poorly maintained. The market was nearly empty—just a lone pack of cough drops on the shelf—and the pool was green and unusable the entire weekend. Parts of the walls were peeling and falling apart. They do advertise free breakfast, but unless you’re there right at the start, you’re out of luck. Food ran out quickly and wasn’t replenished. The only positive aspect of this stay was the friendly front desk staff and the hotel’s convenient location to local attractions. However, that’s not nearly enough to make up for the poor conditions and overall discomfort. I would not recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

I've been here going on 2 weeks and NOT ONCE have had a HOT ANYTHING, as far as the free breakfast that was advertised! Only the same old bread and bagel with no anything else. Cereal and coffee...THAT IS IT! I'm very disappointed as this was one of the reasons we chose to stay here. They lied and aren't even trying to have a hot breakfast any time soon I imagine.

Outdated and filthy! Moreover, they do not return room deposits! They ask for a room deposit of 100 dollars and never release your money back into your credit or debit card account! It's been a month! I checked in at 12 pm and left at 7 am the next morning! Just to get a few hours of sleep! Barely used the room and still haven't received my room deposit and am getting the run around for almost a month ! There are several people who have experienced that same issue of they s Sonesta suites keeping room deposits! It's a complete scam? However I plan on pursuing it through my attorney on principal alone!

This is the worst place I’ve ever stayed in my entire life! I would only stay here if I was homeless! Dirty rooms infested with roaches, broken furnitures ( missing closet doors, non-working bedroom doors, non-working tv, non-working A/C and heater, stained mattress that could’ve been a ****** scene). Free breakfast served with rotten milk (I swallowed some) included rock hard waffle/french toast, bagel without creme cheese, toast without butter or jam….not just not nice, but literally not edible. Do not be fooled by photos. It is a filthy place to stay. Best thing that happened to us on this trip was that we were able to move to another hotel with full refund. I’m really grateful for that because I literally couldn’t have stayed one more hour there! Thank God my friend found a passing by roach in the morning that helped us make decision without any hesitation! It deserves no or minus stars!

We traveled to Dallas for a a medical procedure, and needed to stay for 10 nights. Sonesta’s 2-BR suite was perfect. Our first time in an extended suite. It was perfect for our needs. This property’s management team and pricing is excellent.
