Big room, plenty of space in the bathroom, great blackout shades, plenty of shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Wonderful breakfast selection. Always pleased with Holiday Inn Express.

Matt in the kitchen was super nice and accommodating to everyone (even when they didn’t deserve his hospitality). We feel he was taken advantage of but he responded with grace and a smile and you don’t see that every day. We were so impressed watching his response to the other guest.

property was clean. they wouldn't take cash for payment, I've stayed at holiday inn express's many times, the night before in Amarillo and never refused cash for payment. Couldn't use available discounts because I booked through *******, needless to say I'm done booking through a 3rd party

I’m surprised at the rating for this hotel. Positives are the area feels safe and it’s conveniently located just off the highway. However; it is one of the dirtiest rooms we’ve stayed in. There was hair everywhere- the bathroom floor, the tub, even the sheets. And the sheets smelled awful, like used gym clothes. There was yellow stains on the comforter. The room was also very hot and when we adjusted the thermostat, it didn’t kick on any AC to cool the room.

Minimalistic decor, but clean
The room look to be renovated recently. Did not care for the decor; it was so minimalistic that is almost seemed industrial. The chest where a TV usually sits was replaced by an all purpose bench/luggage shelf. Other than that, the room seemed to have a bit of an odor, but appeared nicely clean. Breakfast was good, always love HI cinnamon rolls!
