I was very let down by my recent stay at this Holiday Inn. As soon as I walked in, there was a strong odor in the hallway that smelled like a mix of cat litter and seafood. It was unpleasant and set the tone for the rest of the stay.
The bathroom didn’t even have a fan, so there was no way to clear steam from the shower or take care of any bathroom odors. For a major hotel chain, this felt like a basic feature that should have been standard.
What upset me the most was the lack of respect for privacy. A couple of hours before checkout, the housekeeper knocked, and because we were still sleeping and didn’t answer fast enough, she opened the door and came into the room to “check if it was still occupied.” There is a checkout time for a reason—entering guests’ rooms before that time, especially without a response, is unacceptable.
On top of all that, I was quoted a price online that included taxes, but when I arrived, I was charged a couple hundred dollars extra for the three rooms I booked. The lack of transparency was incredibly frustrating.
Overall, this experience was disappointing from start to finish, and I will not be returning to a Holiday Inn for future travels

Staff again where very nice and kind. No problems with any of them even the drivers! Breakfast was a really good price and good food. The rooms and such where clean but in major need of updates and replacements. The sheets where clean but had stains on some of them.. The elevators need to be fixed, they are still scary to get in. Am I willing to stay here again? Yes, the staff, the shuttle to and from Mohegan, and the place was clean despite needing major upgrades and replacement furniture.

This hotel is disgusting. It is filthy, the rooms are not maintained. One of the two elevators is inoperable. The restaurant is completely inadequate. The gym does not have disinfecting wipes. In addition, my tire was slashed in the parking lot. Luxury cars were targeted with out of state plates. That is a $2,000 expense as a result of the lacknof security or security cameras

The walls are very thin, can hear people talking clearly in the next room, bathroom shower had moldy caulking.

Room wasn't properly cleaned. Food was on the floor near the bed upon entry. Staff was nice. All floors were in desperate need of vacuuming. Laundry services offered were price gouged to hell. No free breakfast offered, only a menu with seemingly slightly over priced food options.

They said they’re going to refund some of my money but I have to contact you so you can put it back on my credit card. They said they called you guys and I should be all set. So you can credit my credit card back due to the bathroom toilet was not working. We had to use the main lobby which we were on the third floor had to go down to the first floor in the middle of the night.

The rooms carpet felt wet and an odor to it. The whole hotel just had a dirty appearance needs to be clean top to bottom. On a good note shuttle service was amazing.
