This is the dirtiest hotel I ever stayed at. The room was clean but the hallway was never vacuumed and the carpet was filthy. And the elevators and tiled halls were never swept or mopped. It's a pet friendly hotel and both elevators smelled terrible. They are either understaffed, or management just doesn't care about the cleanliness of common areas. Pet friendliness does not mean the hotel has to be dirty. The room was spacious and well-appointed, but I could never recommend this hotel to anyone. They need to hire an overnight janitorial service.

We loved that the 5 of us could stay in one room. The kitchen area was perfect. The breakfast had so many choices to meet everyone’s wants/needs. Staff were respectful and helpful. We will stay again next year for our girls trip!

Property is across the street from a nice shopping and restaurant area. Property is clean and tidy. Staff is helpful and welcoming. Breakfast is fantastic. Definitely would stay again.

Love Hilton hotels, but hate their Home2 brand. Stayed at them several times and have not had one good experience. One of the girls at the counter was very rude when I asked for anything. Like it was going too far out of her way to assist you. Rooms were fake cleaned. Just look at the light bulbs in the lamps (half inch of dust). No one pays attention to details anymore. Mediocrity rules the world now and less than the best is perfectly acceptable.

Having stayed the week prior at the Home2 Suites in Ephrata, I was expecting an exceptional experience as I had there. Not the case at the Lancaster location. At check in the incompetent unfriendly staff member gave me someone else room despite having handed her my ID with my name clearly on it! Then told me I needed to put $175 on my credit card for incidentals for a 2 night stay. I went up to the room and it was not what I booked, came back down and THEN, she told me I made 2 reservations and I need to pay for both (that was what the $175 was for- I was paying for someone else room). She finally realized she gave me someone else room and told me I'd have to call Hilton and Orbitz (I booked and prepaid for the room) and straighten it all out with them. Luckily the manager walked into the hotel at the time and figured out what happened. He assured me he'd make sure the charge for the other room was removed and follow up with me. He never did follow up. The room I was put in was right across from the elevator and had the door sweep removed so there was a large gap between the bottom of the door and the floor allowing noise every time someone was chatting at the elevator. Did they offer any kind of compensation for all this? No. I won't be coming back. If you want to stay at a Home2Suites in the area go to the location in Ephrata. I had a wonderful stay there.
