The room was a little dated. The furniture showed a bit of wear and tear. Everything was comfortable, however. There was no issue with faucets or hot water. The breakfast was pretty good, as expected from previous stays with this hotel chain.

Hotel added a $150 pet charge to my corporate credit card. After following up with the hotel, they insisted that I checked in with two large dogs that I don't even own. Caused numerous problems with my employer. Took almost a week to get cleared up.

We've stayed at a lot of Hampton Inns over the years and have always thought they were a nice place to stay and a cut above many hotel chains. This place did not really live up to the Hampton name. It looked run down with pealing wallpaper and grungy looking carpets. It needs a fresh coat of paint and some attention to details. I wouldn't classify it as a dump but it is definitely not up to the standards I am used to seeing at Hampton Inns.

Checking into the hotel was pretty easy. I was able to pay cash for the hotel and a cash deposit which I did receive back the next day when checking out. I was very dissatisfied when I found out that I was put on the third floor with no operating elevator. I had to walk up and down the stairs every time I wanted to leave and had to carry all my bags upstairs and back down. Very inconvenient. The toilet had stains on it. The mirror had writing on it. The cover to the Kleenex box was very rusted and falling apart. The TV did not work properly. The only thing I could watch was Tubi. The towels that I received in my room were very small. I had little to no soap in the bottle that are complementary at the hotel. Luckily I brought some. Overall, I give this hotel a 3.

When I booked this property I had Lafayette LA on the screen but somehow booked here, attempted to get a refund and was denied. Disappointed because my whole trip I was choosing Hampton in , but will likely change my mind after this experience
