The room was nice and clean. However, I booked the property through *******. I booked because the description said it included parking. Upon arrival I was told parking was $20 per day. They would not honor a 3rd party booking. The parking was an open lot, self park, not even assigned spaces. They did nothing to park the car it was all self service. Additionally, when I arrived they told me the cable was out but being worked on. Our entire stay we had no television, normally I would not be so anxious, but we are from Florida and there was a hurricane out there. When I went up to speak to someone about checking out the night before, this was not allowed, you had to check out the morning you were leaving without a chance to see the bill for review. The bill was emailed to me later. Not what I expected from Marriott.

Nice place overall. Unfortunately there was urine in the toilet upon check in, but the room was clean. The main negative is DO NOT agree to the presentation they call about a few days before. The timeshare representatives call you, offer you to come in for a presentation, and offer to give you a 75$ gift card (+ a 50$ marriott gift card). I agreed for the giftcard with no intention on buying anything . I had a time for 2pm on Friday. My family and I rushed out of Colonial Williamsburg to make this meeting. My wife and my young kids went back to the room to take a nap. When I arrived, I was turned away and made to give them back the gift card because apparently my wife had to be there too! I explained my wife was in the room sleeping with my kids- which didnt matter. It was an infuriating moment and a total waste of time for me and my family.

Would stay again; lots of space in 2BR villas and would like to play golf next time. Only complaint is $20/night for parking seems predatory and housekeeping didnt show up but beautiful clean property.

Gross
The room had a serious moisture problem which made it very uncomfortable to stay in. It was like sleeping in a hot damp basement.

This is a beautiful property. It's a mixture of private homes, villas difficult to figure out where to go especially when you arrive at night

Have stayed at this property for a number of years. Always consistent quality, hospitality, and amenities. Very convenient to Colonial Williamsburg. Current construction of 37 new townhomes is not as intrusive as we thought it may be. This is our first stay in the last 6 years and we were surprised by the new parking fee of $20/day+tax. If that was disclosed in advance, it was not clear on Trivago when we made our reservation. Hidden costs diminish customer satisfaction for what has been a superior experience in the past. Current staff as always are very courteous, welcoming, and helpful. Fitness center is well equipped. Clean, comfortable unit met all of our needs.

Loud and dated. Walking down hall- some lady screaming inside going on and on- two occasions- another time very loud other guests- sounded very low class- then above us each night could hear people literally running…clearly not attracting the best clientele. Pillows too soft- very dated- fridge dirty - housekeeping mediocre. Soaps mounted way too high and towels above toilet gross. The good: -great water pressure, nothing broken.

I will not be staying at this hotel again. They are NOW charging you to park ! $20 a night!
