Uta and Jason were spectacular hosts. They were so caring and dedicated to ensuring we had everything we needed. They prepared a delightful breakfast offering pretty much any and every part of a Scottish breakfast we could ask for as well as fresh fruit, yogurt, porridge, coffee, and tea. They gave us great recommendations on sites and restaurants, but above all, they were a delight to talk to. It felt more like we were staying at a friend's house rather than a B&B. Our room was beautiful and sooo comfortable, not to mention the lovely bathroom. Oh yes, I can't forget to mention their gorgeous property and spectacular views.

BEAUTIFUL LOCATION, GREAT VIEWS FROM THE ROOMS, TERRACE AND GARDEN. A VERY WARM WELCOME BY JASON AND LATER UTA. NO DINNER IS SERVED, BUT IT PROVED PERFECTLY OK TO HAVE OUR OWN LIGHT MEAL ON THE TERRACE. AND NEXT MORNING A GREAT BREAKFAST WAS SERVED OUTSIDE IN THE SUN! HOUSE AND ROOM WERE VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE.

We had a wonderful Stay at Bowden B&B. Lovely location ideal for our stay as attending Thirlston Castle Classic car show. We chose Bowden House for its safe and secure courtyard for our 1960s car. We received a warm welcome from Uta and Jason and pleased to meet the dogs.( Didn't see enough of them). The house and gardens were beautiful, our room was spacious and a comfy bed and a lovely view of gardens and countryside. The breakfast was to die for and set us up for the day. We would recommend Bowden House and hope to return in the near future.

Wonderful welcome at this lovely house. The hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. . The bedrooms were extremely comfortable and the two rooms we occupied had fabulous views. Breakfast was perfect. Will definitely visit again.
