I did not feel safe or comfortable, and I have stayed at many scummy motels over the years. Unfortunately I misjudged how bad this place was and ended up here on a road trip. I did inspect the room upon arrival and decided to risk my health and safety since it was late in the day. I didn't notice that my window was broken and non functional. At least I did not see any bedbugs but the box spring was covered in plastic which is somewhat positive (hmm). The overall vibe was very grimy and sketchy. Had to pay cash because the credit card machine wasn't working. Only light in the room was an overhead fixture, no end table or bedside lamp. AC worked and bed wasn't totally uncomfortable. Walls are paper thin, if even that, so neighbors woke me up chatting outside my room at 5am. TV wasn't bad. Overall though, go elsewhere!

I got here around 7 right as the snow and ice and rain and gusty winds kicked in and thought it was gonna be a nice throwback motel experience with a funny name in a rural town. I was wrong. Light fixtures are nonexistent. Heat don’t work. Place looked like it could be buggy (saw no real signs tbh just a vibe). The winds made it sound like the place was gonna fall over but to make it all worse several different groups of neighbors decided to blast all sorts of different genres of music around 10pm and argue and one up each other with noise and the walls are paper thin and the stereo was right next to where I was laying in bed and it didn’t let up until and several arguments erupted. Pretty sure the cops were already called as there was a half hour of silence before it all resumed again and a brawl seemingly broke out amongst the other motel customers from varying rooms yet again. I took a sleeping pill around 11:30 but by 12:30 it was clear this noise and racket wasn’t gonna let up so I grabbed my stuff (except my trash which I left exactly where it was since there’s probably no refunds and also I left the key in the room and it locked as I closed the door and went to pick it up) and drove up to the office and asked to be moved but was told none of the other rooms were “allowed to be rented out” so I drove off and am now at motel 6. Just wow.
