Warm,friendly hosts, fantastic breakfast, worth it
Fantastic stay, well worth the money, great hosts and delicious breakfast.!
We turned up early before the official Checking in time so we were going to find out about parking and come back later however the room was nearly ready so while Pauline welcomed us, Dave finished getting the room ready, by the time we had chosen our breakfast options we had the keys to the room. Parking is available on their driveway or in the bays on the street for a limit time and there is also a carpark near by, we had no trouble parking, we were able to park on the drive for our whole stay. Pauline and Dave were very warm, welcoming and friendly, it felt more like a home away from home. We were in room 5, a large bedroom with double bed and 2 twin beds, ample space for what we needed. TV, coffee facilities, good WiFi connection, the room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, shower was lovely and the breakfast was amazing, fresh products, cooked perfectly, and the other guests were very friendly. There was a lovely atmosphere in the breakfast room, Pauline looked after us well and Dave cooked a brilliant breakfast. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend staying there. Next time we go to Clacton we will definitely see if they have a room avaliable. Thank you Pauline & Dave for all your hard work, looking after us and making us feel very welcomed. We loved meeting you and had a wonderful time.

We had a very nice /enjoyable stay at Adelaide Guesthouse Pauline and Dave are great hosts - Dave cooks eggs to die for - we will definitely use / stay again - highly recommend

We booked a Double Ensuite Room. On arrival our room was the family room. Wow what a massive room. It had 3 beds. Lovely fresh looking room, so clean. Beds were comfortable. Shower had great pressure and water was hot.
We also booked a twin room. This too was lovely and clean. Had a kettle, teas and coffees for use, as did the Double Room.
Pauline & Dave were brilliant hosts. Nothing was too much if you requested anything. You could tell that they had been hosts for a long time.
Breakfast was choosen by yourself, ticked off your prefered items on a list. Presentation was appetising. More toast, tea or coffee was not a
problem.
I would highly reccommend you stay at the Adelaide Guest House for a welcoming homely stay.
I definitely will be staying here on my next visit to Clacton On Sea.

It's in a very convenient location for walking into town and to the sea front and pier. The beds were very comfortable and the decor in the bedroom was very special. Breakfast was delicious.
