The Dolphin was the perfect place for us to stay in Newbury. It was a short walk from the train station and since the rooms were above the pub we had a delicious pizza for dinner. The rooms were very clean and cozy and the continental breakfast was tasty.

Arrived at the Dolphin and was told they could not find my booking after travelling 2 hours to visit a trade exhibition locally They had no record on the computer system Despite them sending me a confirmation of my booking and a pre check in e mail The person on duty was very pleasant but said he had no idea what went on other than it must have been new staff made the error ??? Was offered a coffee while we sat. And tried to find somewhere locally to stay But sadly nothing in the town so we had to drive another 30 min to find overnight accommodation I only put this review as hopefully customers in the future double check bookings at this property to ensure it dose not happen to them It was a shame as everything seemed so nice and the restaurant looked amazing but that’s life

Perfect one night stop over
Surprisingly lovely pub given town centre location. Berr gardens is a real treat, lovely interior and reasonably priced food and drink.
Room was everything you needed- very spacious, plenty of tea/coffee toiltries. Loved the early breakfast set-up, all laid out ready the you are- great for us as we're always up at stupid o'clock and wanted to get back on the road early.
Really pleasant stay, ideally located for the races- highly recommend.

这家酒店本质上就是个酒吧，楼上有四五个房间出租——太酷了！房间很漂亮，干净整洁，我们所需的一切都应有尽有。我们遇到的员工都非常热情友好。免费早餐是自助的，虽然不是很热，但食物选择/菜品种类丰富。床很舒服，而且因为是周中，酒吧营业时间不晚，所以我们那天晚上睡得很好！强烈推荐！
