Check-in was straight forward. Staff were friendly. Food at evening dinner and breakfast was really good.

Staff are really approachable, we had issues with our room, three people sharing a room and only set up for two of us. This was resolved by taking the duvet from a spare room. We didnt book in until late afternoon. We couldnt get the new shower to work. Not sure what the issue was. Will stay at the hotel next year & find out how to use thr shower!

酒店回复: Thank you for your review. We did unfortunately have those couple of issues. Housekeeping thought the room was to be set for a double, but the problem was soon rectified. We have, since your stay, found that there was an airlock in the hot water system, which caused the issue with your shower. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay and look forward to seeing you again next year.

A pleasant 2 night stay.
Beautiful building. Great parking. Downstairs rooms were beautiful. Breakfast was great. Staff could not have been any nicer. Many, many positives.
However. Our room (6), which was a quadruple room, had a few issues.
The beds were the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced. The windows were very dirty and painted shut. The bathroom needs a complete upgrade.
Having said that - if we were in the area would we stay there again?
Absolutely. Just please get new beds!

酒店回复: Thank you for your review. We are pleased you loved the hotel, but apologies for the issues with the bedroom. We have replace almost all of the upper windows in the hotel during the last 2 years, but room 6 has not been changed yet. I have the window ready just to be fitted as soon as our joiner can get to it. I will certainly look at the beds and replace the mattress if needed. We are upgrading rooms when possible and room 6 is one of the next on the list. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Located in a beautiful area all around green fields. We really enjoyed our stay there. Breakfast and servie was good.

Excellent Hotel
Excellent traditional hotel with character. Very friendly and helpful staff. The evening meal was very reasonably priced and a good sized portion.
