Breakfast was first class. Room spacious and comfortable. Friendly staff and plenty of advice on where to visit and whats on where - such as craft fair at Cardigan castle. Excellent fish shop at Aberporth.

This place was well run with friendly and helpful staff. Our room was clean but small. The breakfast was very good. We arrived in the evening and were surprised to find that the ‘hotel’ had no bar or dining room. It is a short drive from any such. The experience was more B & B and it would be good if this were clearer for booking purposes. Having said that this is still good value and pleasant place.

However, you have said that you were surprised to find no bar/restaurant at the hotel but on looking at the messages you received after booking, you have a confirmation which also states there is no on site bar & restaurant which I have a read receipt for. There was also a second message sent the day before arrival stating the same.

Wonderful place, wonderful chap, room very tired
Good old fashion customer service that I haven't seen for years, we were actually shown to our room by the gentleman that runs the place. When was the last time you stayed in a hotel that did that!? Lovely chap too, he did a flawless cooked breakfast, we enjoy every bit!
The only thing that was evident was that the place does need some TLC. The paint on the furniture was heavily chipped, the bedroom (room 3) was lovely, stunning view, but very tired. Other than that I would highly recommend staying here, and we will be returning!

Very clean in both public areas and bedrooms/bathrooms. Although we knew in advance that breakfast was to be ordered the night before, we hadn't;t realised we had to choose a time slot - at 10 minute intervals - and would have to be prepared to change our preferred time if it had been chosen by other guests. Good quality food served. Portion sizes were not explained on the breakfast pre-order so if you want two hash browns, you need to state quantity on the form!!

The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Excellent breakfast very clean room amd comfortable bed. We stayed for 2 nights and will definitely visit again. 5*****

Lovely stay, nice sized room, very clean, comfy bed with good facilities. We had a wedding we needed to be at by 12pm and to our surprise upon arriving our room was ready early for us with no extra charge. Mac was so welcoming and attentive from start to finish. Breakfast was also delicious! We will be back and for longer next tim as we only stayed for 1 night to attend a wedding locally. Thanks for a great stay!

We only stayed for one night but were made very welcome. There was plenty of parking available. Our room was very clean with a comfortable bed and a very large shower room. The cooked breakfast was large and delicious. I would stay here again.
