We spent a fabulous 3 nights at Echo Woods B & B in the heart of winter. Right from our welcome upon our late arrival by Bob, the quintessential host, we felt at home and in love with the place! The house is absoutely beautiful with three spacious, beautiful bedrooms with ensuites. There is room for all with 2 spacious, comfotable sitting rooms equipped with games, well appointed coffee nook and books (mostly cook books in the library - the guests reap the benefits of that passion!). The Muskoka room with a fireplace and windows was a favourite, especially after a day of outdoor winter activities. The large dining rooom is the setting for the most amazing breakfasts you will ever have the pleasure of enjoying. Darlene's breakfasts are beautifully presented - truly a work of art - and a flavour sensation on the plalate. You don't need lunch!! The location is perfect - 5 minutes from town for shopping and many great restaurants for dinner, 20 minutes to Arrowhead PP for cross country skiing and skating, 25 minutes to Limberlost for hiking and snowshoeing. It's the whole package! You gotta stay here!!

Amazing B&B. Beautiful house so wonderfully decorated and you’re able to use all the amenities on the floor. It’s like a grand home. Bedroom was so generous with a super comfy bed and amazing bathroom. Darlene and Bob are super friendly, like family. The breakfasts were truly amazing like Michelin star rating. Best B&B we have ever stayed in - and we’ve travelled extensively. The main high street is a short drive away and has a couple of good restaurants. Tall Trees was our favourite, you do need to book.

My husband and I recently stayed at this enchanting B&B. The home is nestled in the pines. Stone steps lead you to the entrance when upon entering you’re engulfed in a warm and cozy environment. We stayed in the Deer Trail room which was spacious and beautifully decorated. The extra large bathroom was modern with a huge shower. There are no words to describe the breakfasts as phenomenal doesn’t seem to cut it. Every morning was a new pleasure to the senses and the palate. The hosts were warm and gracious and made you feel as if you were home.

We had a delightful stay at Echo Woods B&B! The property is beautiful and our room was very comfortable. The common rooms were lovely and quiet; I only wish we had more time! Bob and Darlene were fantastic hosts and the breakfast was one of the best meals I have ever had. I would highly recommend this property and hope to return.

If I could give this B&B 10 stars I would! This is definitely THE best B&B we ever stayed in. The enchanted house, full of amazing antiques, wonderfully and tastefully decorated, cozy and very private bedrooms, top notch, softest beds and linen, relaxing bathrooms where you can find anything from a shower cap to bath salts. And then there are Darlene’s Michelin’s style breakfasts on par with those served at Ritz Carlton but with added extra love. Darlene and Bob, the proprietors take outmost cars and create a personal relationship with their guests. This is definitely a rarest gem of a B&B. Thank you so much, Darlene and Bob, it’s been a huge pleasure to stay at your amazed place and hanging out with you. A return trip is in order for us.
