This is a beautiful property. Our room was clean and smelled clean. The king bed in the Feather room was very comfortable. The water was hot. There are no televisions in the rooms. It has a full kitchen that you can use and store your items in the fridge. There is a shared dining space and common room.

This is an electronic DYI check-in / check-out arrangement. Guests help each other with problems. Owners are remote and available only by phone or text. Front door access keypad was broken. Other keypads worked after several tries. Property was nice inside, but we felt unsure about staying at a lodge where the doors might or might not open for us after we returned from a walk or a restaurant or to our locked room from the shared areas of the lodge. If the locks are upgraded it will be a good place to stay for independent minded people.

Lovely stay

Very pleasant stay. Lots of space. Steps a bit of challenge with luggage - but we managed fine. Area beautiful! Had a lovely time seated in back by fire pit, drinking wine and visiting.

The lodge looks great from the outside and in. Our room was very pleasant and spacious, with a chimney, solid-wood furniture, a large jacuzzi tub and a big bathroom. It overlooked the front of the property through sliding doors. However, it was directly facing the road, which was not ideal. That wouldn't have been a problem if the sliding doors could be shut all the way, whigh they couldn't. Worse, it was infested with ladybugs that were flying all over the room. The door leading into the room was difficult to open. You had to push it hard to get it to open, after entering the code. So overall, it was a very pretty lodge dampened only by a lack of proper maintenance and cleaning. I was a bit disappointed as I had expected "excellence", as the ratings indicated when I looked for a place to stay.
