Stayed at Galagos for work conference and was thoroughly disappointed. Staff really tried putting effort in ensuring our stay is pleasant and the owner's attitude was downright rude 🙄 the place has roaches even 😑. Still waiting for a response regarding my refund.

Staff was very friendly, Air conditioning/heating was working perfectly, Complimentary breakfast was good, the only disappointment was the bottle of spackling wine and the rose petals were not set up as on arrival as per package deal.

The Best stay one could ask for felt like a home away from home the host Yolandi and her husband went above and beyond to make the stay amazing the cleanliness of the facility was flawless, the pool nice spot to chill at, and the hot tub done the magic it had to works like a dream the views from the room to the outside area amazing overlooking the dam sunrise to sunset it was awesome we will be back soon.

The owners of the place are very hostile hosts, they are like hawks hovering over ones head especially during eating time. They are not open to suggestions or whatsoever . One doesn't feel comfortable or enjoy any sort of privacy There is nothing to write home about our stay at this place other than they must accept and close shop. The owners have no respect for their patrons including their employees, one is treated like a child

酒店回复: Dear Mapule, I am truly sorry that your experience seems to be the complete opposite from the other delegates from the University for whom we hosted a conference, their positive reviews and compliments highly appreciated and available to view in our guest book. It is standard practice that, during a conference we are available during the serving of meals to check on food standard and serving Not to hover like hawks as you claim but to ensure that serving dishes on all meals served remain full and sufficient to serve all guests. Serving a group of 30 delegates does have challenges and therefore we are around to eliminate any problems that may arise. We are sorry that you feel that checking on the food to ensure sufficient supply was hostile. With regards to being open to suggestions, when planning a conference all menu options are communicated with the organizer in advance for approval, specially for large groups. Stock is then ordered accordingly. It is unfortunately not possible to amend a menu 1 hour before serving time as you insisted on. We wish you only the best

We arrived on Friday afternoon. On Saturday we went away and when we came back we wanted to shower, the water was called. The staff mentined to us it was load shedding but i can recongnise that we are using Gas heater but it was off. Later in the day we went out and when we came back at night the lodge had no electricity, nobody told us anything. We waited for a staff member because the contact number we had was offline. Finally we spoke to the manager and she told us she is struggling to buy electricity because she is on prepaid. My question was simple, you should have let us know and provide some alternative. We could not find one another and she told me that i can leave, i did exactly that, Om Monday, when i check for my refund, she told me that she would not give it because my partner gave a bad review. It was unfortunate that we ended up there without checking reviews because if we checked them we could not have booked there. I was not the first one to leave amother the same circumstances
