Great check in, spotless and tidy facilities. The lounge is gorgeous, especially in the evening with the candles and fire. Fully functional WiFi, central heating and hot showers. Glad to see such a well run YHA!

The room and bathroom were spotless. The kitchen area had everything we needed. It was also very organised. You can even camp if you have your own tent. Facilities 10/10

Absolutley AMAZING service! So so kind and lovely. I made a special request beforehand and the staff were so generous with it, they properly went above and beyond. Room was really neat and tidy, showers and toilets were lovely and clean. Thank you so much!

Friendly hostel, cosy and welcoming lounge/dining area, only 5 mins walk to Helmsley Market Square. National Birds of Prey Centre at Duncombe Park (an easy walk from the hostel) well worth a visit, don't miss the flying sessions! Also try the Helmsley Brewery on Bridge Street, we recommend Howardian Gold.

We like YHA hostels very much but this one was our least favorite so far. You are locked out until 5:00 pm. The town of Helmsley is lovely, but this hostel is in an ordinary neighborhood that is not as pleasant or attractive as most YHA sites. The staff was pleasant but not accommodating.

我们入住时，受到了友好而乐于助人的欢迎。我们注意到的第一件事就是这个地方非常干净整洁，而且在我们入住期间一直保持着这种状态 - 每天，当我们在傍晚回来时，公共区域，特别是会员厨房，都井然有序。公共区域包括一个大型用餐区，里面摆放着不同大小的桌子，用餐区尽头是围绕着木材燃烧器的沙发。用餐区外是一个宽敞且设备齐全的会员厨房，有 2 台微波炉、2 台冰箱等。比现在的许多旅馆好多了。还有一个带电视的小型独立休息室。楼上有很多厕所和淋浴间，所以不用排队。前面的停车场非常狭窄而且相当泥泞，这造成了一些问题，但前面和侧面也有路边停车位 - 旅馆位于一条安静的小路上，所以不用担心把车停在外面。位置便利 - 非常安静，只有远处 A170 公路的噪音，但非常方便，通过安静的道路和小巷 5 分钟内即可到达市场广场。我们去的时候，其他客人包括骑行团体、家庭、情侣和一些骑车者。这只是运气好，但和我们在一起的每个人都很友好、放松，而且大多很健谈，这为良好的氛围增添了色彩。向值班的管理员巴兹致敬，他工作努力，幽默风趣，是青年旅舍协会的优秀大使。
