We visited Musangano Lodge from the 30th of December. This is a hidden gem on Odzi. The views from the lodge were beautiful and the ambience restful. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for peace away from the city bustle. The menu was absolutely delicious. There is a self catering option complete with a furnished kitchen and braai stand for each unit. Nearest shops are 30km away in Mutare town, so I would recommend stocking up on your way to the lodge or you’ll have to drive into Mutare if you want to do your own cooking.

We had a lovely stay in their tented rooms in their camping site. Clean ablutions. Hot water for showers. Could use a bit of maintenance in the tents. Very basic but perfect for a camping experience in the mountains. Staff could be a little bit more friendly.

We had a lovely stay for two nights at the Lodge. The staff were friendly and efficient. The Lodge and entire setting has been created so well. And there is great attention to detail in the decor, the information leaflet and little signs indicating where things are kept. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and hearing a little history of the place. We walked one of the trails and saw quite a few birds. We would recommend Musangano Lodge as a lovely break away and a place to stopover or enjoy a weekend away. Thank you to Bright and the staff for making us feel welcome.We will visit again. It was our second time. The chalets are very nice. The staff were efficient, helpful and friendly. The restaurant offered good menu options.

The place is full of a tranquil feel and the vegetation and flowers are refreshing. Its serene you can hear yourself think. The rooms are all well kept and the beds are so comfy. The food is very very good and tastes amazing,loved it!. I liked the staff's sevice ,specifically Bright who is very responsive and very cordial. Hope to visit again before December. Well done Musangano team.
