Absolutely lovely place for our Anniversary weekend. If you’re a foodie like we are, it’s a must. This historic inn dating from 1750 is in the beautiful Yarrow valley, between Selkirk & Peebles in the Scottish Borders . The rooms are comfortable, cosy & so quiet. Looking out over the surrounding green fields whilst the swallows wheeled around the rooftops was magical. With a choice of Tasting menu or a la carte, the quality & presentation of the food is excellent. Breakfast in the morning was just right with perfect scrambled egg The team at the Gordon Arms is so friendly - we felt at home right away.

We had a wonderful stay! Host was very welcoming! Room was very clean and beds were very comfortable. Linen particularly nice! Food (dinner & breakfast) was great value!
Will definitely stay again and can easily recommend it!
