Great place. The staff was very friendly. One thing to know is that the parking is valet only and at the time of this review is $38 per night. Great location. The coffee they have is really good. I'd stay there again, especially if I don't have a car.

We have stayed here at least a couple of times a year for the last 7 years. Generally have great experiences. This last visit will be our last. The main point was the air conditioner was broken and they did not have any staff to fix nor did they have another room for us to move to. They knew the AC was broken during a heat wave and they booked the room anyways. The staff did offered to move us to another hotel but it was after midnight at that point and they offered no compensation to offset the experience. When we asked them to resolve they did not offer a resolution but asked us what we wanted to do to fix the situation. We have noticed decline in the staff and management teams over the past couple of years.

Staff was amazing. The room is small but doable. The shower/bathroom needs some detail cleaning. Could use some bleach or Tylex. I didnt want to step in the shower without my flipflops. Visible mold throughout.
Otherwise, I had an enjoyable stay.

Lackluster hospitality
We have stayed here in the past and have been really pleased. This trip was different than others, however. The hospitality was lacking. Our coffee maker was broken and a fuse blew in our room when the alarm clock got jostled. We let the staff know and it fell on deaf ears. No resolution. No cares. The valet guy was the kindest if all.

The hotel was pretty walkable to a lot of things. The location is great. The rooms are very small but nicely decorated. I got a room with an outdoor patio which was very nice. I initially got a room with the a/c not working (and they knew about it because there was a fan in there instead) and didn’t say anything to us until we complained and asked for another room, Which they had available. Wish they would had just put us in that room to begin with. But besides that whole ordeal. The staff was nice about it and the stay was great.

Welcoming hotel
Reception team were welcoming and friendly.
Reception area was clean and relaxing.
Valet parking was helpful
Our room walks seemed thin and easy to hear ' neighbours' talking and we were unlucky that they decided to use the outside space to loudly and only moved when I asked at 0015 to be quiet! Great location for seafront and harbour and the shops!!
