The hotel is very well done. The hotel and elevators smells nice. The staff that we dealt with treated us very nice, was very welcoming and asked if we wanted their signature cookie. You can see the hotel lobby and bar area from the elevators because it's glass windows, not enclosed like a regular elevator. You can sit at the bar and watch tv while you're getting you cocktail on and possibly having something to eat. They were decorating the Xmas tree while we were there. They have plenty of parking. I think if you come out of the hotel and go down the road you have different stores and places to eat. The rooms are so comfortable even the studio rooms are spacious enough. They have bath mats to put down so you don't slip in the shower because there's no grip on the bottom of the shower floor. They have a pool that's a bit bigger than other hotels (usually it's like a big bathtub), the water was quite warm my husband said which is not good for any kind of exercise. When I went to see the pool the room was chilly like a draft which you don't' want to feel if you're warm in the water. The workout room is kind of small my husband said, at least it's there if you want to do any kind of workout, treadmill, weights etc... The one thing that was a bit surprising is that there are no USB ports to charge your phone. I happened, for once, to leave my plug in charger home,we had the usb charger but there were no ports. They had plenty of outlets to plug in, which was amazing. I loved it.

We stay here for all of our trips to visit family and are never disappointed with the service, cleanliness or the quality. The prices are also reasonable. We’ll keep coming back to the Double Tree in Columbia

The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was great, even though I wish it were part of the accommodation rather than paying separately. I hope the management can look into it.

I was very upset because we were told that we were getting free breakfast and when we went down there, we ate the breakfast and then they charged us and I went to the desk and told them that I was told it was free and basically told me it wasn’t free and we had to pay for it. Very disappointed.

Staff was friendly. Kind of strict at breakfast to get our tickets for free breakfast which was $18 otherwise. But it was the same exact breakfast other places have for free. They spent all their money on the re-doing the front lobby. Rooms were old and needed to be re-done

Unfortunately the only thing I had to say was I booked for a king room and when I arrived for check in I was told that they overbooked king beds and asked if I would be okay with having two queens instead. I was fine with that but just disappointed that I wasn’t able to get the room I originally booked.
