Stayed 1 night mid-week. I'm struggling to believe that some of the guest photos here are even of the same hotel I stayed in. The lobby is pleasant, modern & welcoming, the lift & corridors were clean, the bedroom & bathroom spotless. Comfortable bed and nice thick good quality towels. The bar was expensive at £4.70 for a 330ml bottle of Peroni. (Card payment only.) No draft beer is available as per bar photos on some booking sites. There is a choice of restaurants 5 minutes walk away inc. an international buffet (with queue at 6.45 pm), a very reasonably priced Fish & Chip shop. £5.50 1/4 roast chicken, chips & a bottle of coke. [Rather basic surroundings, but the food was good enough]. Also a Frankie & Benny's who had a 2 hour waiting list, booking only. So if you want to go there phone them in advance & book a table. The chip shop & the buffet are inside the complex, door next to F&B's. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice. The hot food was actually hot, unlike many places. I would have preferred the bacon cooked a little more and the option of a fried egg rather than scrambled. Staff, mostly relatively young, were well presented, polite and helpful. Would I stay here again? 100% yes. Entering the postcode into a satnav will tell you you have arrived when you reach the centre of the PC area, keep going ahead on Grenoble Road until you see the stadium, pass the stadium and turn left at the next roundabout.

My self and my partner stayed here for the weekend. The staff were incredible so friendly and accommodating! They knew the area well and were able to tell us where we can get food. This hotel has a bus stop outside of it that can take you to Cowley centre or the city centre! Which was perfect! Breakfast was amazing ! Loads to choose from and all super tasty! Had a drink int he bar which was also great really modern and clean hotel ! The room was clean , specious and had great amenities like iron and ironing board a hairdryer and usb charging sockets! It was a really amazing night sleep super quiet and comfortable! Would 100% stay here again !! Thankyou so much!!

Stayed for to nights, it was brilliant. The staff were well trained and the hotel was clean and tidy. It was great to have our room serviced every day. The breakfast was good, this is how hotels were before they started to blame everything on Covid. Well done.

Nice room, probably one of the better bathrooms of hotels we've stayed in and helpful staff. Sleeping comfort was very good. Morning breakfast was plentiful, lots of staff helping out. Would certainly stay there again.

Hard writing this review. I'll start with the pros: Clean room, bed was comfy and good lay out. Place seemed clean and staff were pleasant. Cons: No proper bar, so 5.20 a bottle of beer. No restaurant so was directed to the worst all you can eat buffet I've been to. I was told no double bed rooms so had a twin. Breakfast was pretty dire.

We stayed at this hotel as a base for Oxford and some of my family. We arrived around 11am having put in a request for early check-in and were pleased to see that it had been granted. We had a very spacious and clean Room 117 on the first floor with a large comfortable bed. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast wasn't the most generous affair ever to have graced a hotel however it served us well for the two mornings. This hotel is a little way out of the centre of Oxford however there are frequent buses from literally just outside (3A; 24 hour ticket £4.20 at the time of writing).

This is the worst IHG express that I have ever stayed in. No food, no draft beers, unhelpful and untrained staff. When you mentioned food they stated that they are a bed & breakfast hotel only and what do you expect from a Holiday Inn Express ?? None of the express’s have food whatsoever. When asked if they had ever stayed at a IHG hotel they said that it doesn’t matter we are a government contract hotel . Like it or lump it.. If I wanted a hostel I could have got one for a 1/4 of the cost. I stay at the IHG group 5 nights a week all over England and I would advise anyone to stay well clear.
