I stayed at Ascott Central Sydney with my family for five days and four nights, and this was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.
Serious safety issue on the very first day.
On the day of check-in, my mother slipped and fell while showering in the bathroom and suffered severe spinal pain. This incident clearly shows that the bathroom lacks proper anti-slip safety measures, which is unacceptable for a hotel that positions itself as a high-end serviced apartment brand.
The next day, the bathroom sink became completely blocked.
We reported this issue to the front desk immediately. However, when we returned to the hotel that evening, the problem had still not been fixed, and no explanation or follow-up was provided. This level of maintenance efficiency is extremely disappointing.
What made the experience even worse was a clear lack of respect for guests.
After housekeeping service, my mother’s pajamas were thrown from the bed onto the floor, which was clearly done by the cleaning staff. We reported this to the front desk, and they said they would “handle it”, yet there was no response, apology, or action taken over the following three days.
In addition, the hotel’s facilities are very old and poorly maintained, completely inconsistent with the photos and branding. The rooms feel outdated and neglected, far below expectations for an Ascott property.
The only positives are the relatively convenient location and the acceptable attitude of some front desk staff.
However, these do not come close to compensating for the safety risks, poor maintenance, lack of service follow-up, and disrespectful housekeeping behavior.
Overall, this hotel is not worth the price and does not live up to the Ascott brand at all.
I strongly advise travelers—especially those staying with elderly family members or expecting basic service standards—to avoid this hotel entirely.

非常不错的酒店,位置特别方便,公共交通也很便捷,处于悉尼的核心位置。房间大,落地窗的风景可以看到悉尼中心的城景
床单有污渍。硬件太旧了,不隔音,门不隔音。地毯进去一股霉味。床太软,床垫好几层,好几层旧床垫。床单很小,遮盖了床头遮盖不住床尾。床头灯上都是灰。浴缸和淋浴头太老了,使用非常不方便!600以上不建议住!
送孩子去悉尼大学读书,选择了离学校比较近的酒店,到了之后还是很满意的。酒店在悉尼科技大学附近穿过科技大学就是悉尼大学,沿途道路环境都很好,下次过去还是选择这里。
这是我至今为止住过体验最差的一家酒店之一。我从来没写过差评,但是这个酒店真的值得一个大大的差评。
入住当天就发生了严重问题。
我母亲在酒店房间内洗澡时不慎滑倒,导致脊椎剧烈疼痛。这不仅反映出浴室防滑措施严重不足,也让我们对酒店的基础安全性产生了极大的担忧。作为一家自称高端、长期住宿型的酒店,这样的安全隐患是完全不可接受的。
第二天,房间内厕所水槽发生严重堵塞。
我们第一时间向前台反映情况,但直到当晚返回酒店,问题依然没有被修好,期间也没有任何解释或反馈。对于一家正常运营的酒店来说,这种效率实在令人失望。
更令人无法接受的是,在此期间发生了极不尊重客人的行为:
房间打扫后,我母亲的睡衣被从床上随意丢在地上,明显是清洁人员所为。我们向前台反映后,对方表示“会处理”,但在之后连续三天内完全没有任何回应、道歉或补救措施。
此外,酒店整体设施非常老旧,与宣传图片和品牌定位严重不符。房间陈旧、维护不足,完全不符合我们对雅诗阁这一品牌的预期。
唯一可以勉强称得上优点的,只有地理位置尚可,以及前台工作人员态度还算礼貌。
但这远远不足以弥补安全问题、设施老化、服务失责以及对客人缺乏基本尊重的问题。
综合来看,这家酒店完全不值这个价格,也不配雅诗阁的品牌定位。
我强烈建议有老人同行、或对住宿品质有基本要求的旅客慎重选择,甚至直接避开。

离中央车站很近,步行几分钟就能到酒店。轻轨站也是几分钟的距离。附近餐饮选择也很多。早餐质量不错,房间也很安静。
2月初才决定去悉尼过春节,Booking上定的另外一家无奈到了悉尼才告知2.16无房被取消,紧急在携程的选了这家。
酒店设施实在老旧的出奇,洗手池的内沿全是黑斑,浴室垫也是污渍一片,淋浴屏漏水,空调声吵的睡不着。
没拍照片,因为除了睡觉就没在酒店呆着。
除了离chinatown近这个地理优势以外,其他都不推荐来。
位置方便,服务热情,特别是楼下是唐人街很热闹,离景区和车站都很近,开会累了就可以马上回酒店休息。加上交通方便,餐饮也很多,下次还会入住。
真是糟透了,不干净,还很吵,房间外面的一切声音都能听到。房间很旧了,没有翻新过。我住在16楼。这是一次很差的体验。
比较歧视携程过去的客户。安排了备用房间,超级怠慢,有蜘蛛网,不建议,如果是送孩子过来上学的,选另外一家吧
