We stayed for a few nights between international flights due to uncertainty of flight cancellations. The positive was the shuttle service both to and from the airport was good. Driving in to the hotel grounds we noticed it was very unkept and seedy looking area. We checked in to our room and first impressions was gloomy and very old decor with mismatched furniture. The safe doesn’t work and when we asked at reception we were told none of the safes work, the remote on the TV volume doesn’t work, the sink in the bathroom doesn’t drain, there are missing and cracked tiles on the wall. The breakfast is very mediocre with cold coffee and Luke warm scrambled eggs and a choice of 4 cereals . There is no where to eat close by so it cost us $20 each way in an uber as only had noodles or potato chips in the office. Overall I would not recommend this hotel regardless of the price

This place is extremely dated and dirty. Pool is out of order one of the elevators is out of order. The food they sell at the front desk is out of boxes from Sam's Club. Washcloths and towels were from Sam's Club coffee cups were from Sam's Club and leaked coffee everywhere. Was in a two King room suite the separate room looked like all the wall hangings were literally ripped off the wall it also looked like paper was glued to the wall then ripped off. Room was extremely musty smelling. When I got home I had to wash everything I brought. Past comments about the Cockroaches had me so freaked out I didn't bring in any of our food. I can't believe Windom allows their name to be on this hotel.

Employees were very nice and patient. Wish had more for breakfast, room was musty but it was smoking room. The hot water did take a while to get hot. Housekeeping was so nice. Value for Price was good for our 2 night stay. Across from Burlington and some gas stations. Overall 9 out of 10

This place is an abomination! The hotel lobby, elevators and hallways were filthy dirty. I never entered the room, leaving the hotel in the middle of the night. It's the worst presentation I've ever seen. Someone from upper management should do a sight inspection and clean up the place or tear it down. It's disgusting. When I checked into the La Quinta down the street, the manager there said the Wingate Hotel has had all kinds of complaints and issues, but nobody seems to care. If there was a negative rating, I would give it.

This motel had a busted TV, unclean linen, the room smelled like mold and the elevator shoes and makes a loud noise which the frontdesk staff seem to think is funny. I checked out and requested a refund 10 minutes after going in the second room they exchanged for the first dirty room. Stay away from this motel.

I feel I got exactly what I expected & my money’s worth, it was nice & clean.. staff was nice & friendly as well. My shower door wouldn’t stay shut all the way lol but I used a washcloth to keep it closed so I made do with that issue but overall like i said, very nice & clean . Bed was super comfyyy!

THIS HOTEL NEEDS TO BE CLOSED DOWN! Dirty! Smelly! Unsanitary! Roaches! Worn/Stained/Frayed linens! Dirty floors! Non-working doors, appliances, and elevator (which after reading reviews has been for more than a year)! Fire Hazard!! Fire extinguishers out of compliance! Unprofessional & Rude Staff/Management! They know these conditions, refuse to help and frankly don't care! They admitted fearing for their jobs! Unsafe! Better security is needed! Transients entering facility and Loitering! Refuse to issue refund when cancelling within guidelines. I have reported this facility to both the Houston Fire Marshall and local Health Department. Wyndham- you should be ASHAMED to have your name on these walls!

The beds were comfy and the water was super hot. I liked the location and free parking. Breakfast was mediocre, not worth me getting up for cold cereal and long lines. The jacuzzi and pool was working it seemed that it needed more chlorine. Some frsh paints ans trash cans will bri g the property back to life. Good customer service and stay overall.
