Our family vacation at the Graduate Hotel in Iowa City over Thanksgiving week was truly memorable. Traveling with my wife and our twin boys, we found the hotel to be the perfect home base—its location right next to the University of Iowa campus and the pedestrian mall made exploring the city effortless and fun. The staff was wonderfully attentive, adding warmth to the holiday atmosphere, and our room was spotless with unique, quirky furnishings that delighted both adults and kids alike. The combination of exceptional service, distinctive design, and unbeatable location made our four-night stay both comfortable and special.

It was hard to get a hold of anyone at the front desk from our room. We called at least 4 different times and no one ever answered. Then, a few minutes later, the front desk called us, so we thought they knew we had called and were calling back. Nope. They told us we had used an invalid credit card, which wasn't true because we booked through *******. It turned out to be an error on their end. Shower gel dispenser was empty. On the plus side, we did receive complimentary late checkout. The hotel room was nicely decorated. The location is convenient and close to campus/downtown areas.

I wasn’t aware that it was pet friendly and I’m allergic to cats and dogs. Unfortunately, my allergies went crazy.

Excellent and unique hotel. Walkable to University of Iowa. Lots of restaurants to choose from. If my daughter gets accepted to UI, I will definitely come back to this hotel
我喜欢这家研究生酒店的装潢，而且它离餐厅和校园都很近。不过，酒店本身有点破旧，需要的不仅仅是外观上的翻新。比如，我们房间的卫生间马桶有裂缝，盥洗台上也锈迹斑斑。
