Excellent and unique hotel. Walkable to University of Iowa. Lots of restaurants to choose from. If my daughter gets accepted to UI, I will definitely come back to this hotel

great location,gym facilities; nice event facilities and catering; unique design, small bathrooms, no microwave access or coffee pot in room; but they did have a fridge and electric water kettle; ice on same floor and water dispenser; coffee shop and bar downstairs;

Location can’t be beat - right in the heart of downtown Iowa City. The Hawkeye-themed decor was a hit with our group.

Staff and management outstanding!
The hotel struggled with the air conditioning. My mom‘s TV didn’t work. But I don’t rate hotels necessarily on their problems. I write on how they handle the problems with their customers. Their staff was outstanding in getting the problems solved, people moved, credited our room, etc., SoI would encourage anyone to stay here and I stay here often.

Very nice hotel with great location. Quiet and comfortable. Bed excellent. I will happily stay here again.
