The room was exceptionally clean! The level of cleanliness was evident not just visually, but also the room and the entire hotel smelled clean. That may be due to a recent remodel. However it came to be, it was noticed and greatly appreciated. Often times rooms smell stuffy, mildewy, like a carton of cigarettes or a combination of those. What helps in these situations is a window that actually opens... this hotel excels in that area because it offers balconies with most rooms. The balcony itself was spectacular due to the size and the privacy it provided. Returning to the room, the decor was modern. The room included a decent sized television, a mini fridge, and a microwave. I must mention the thermostat control and programming. Most hotels have a system where the fan cannot be turned off. This one was quiet when running but had an auto off mode, like a normal home has. The benefit for me is that I don't wake up stuffy due to the unit blowing all night. There was a sofa that turned into a full sized bed, but not like the ones I normally see. It was cleverly designed with 3 sections of standard thickness mattresses! Although I didn't have a need to use it for sleeping, it seemed like it would be extremely comfortable for resting. It was certainly relaxing for sitting purposes. The bathroom had a nice shower enclosure with a hefty sliding glass door. It proved very spacious and welcoming. I loved the shaded parking area as well. It was the best hotel experience for us in years!

The room was clean however the AC was not cooling. The maintenance man came later and changed out the whole unit while we were in the room which was fine. We booked the Cruise shuttle then we decided to get a rental so I advised the front desk person that we go a rental so we no longer needed a shuttle. Luckily, I checked back the next night because we were still booked for the shuttle plus the 12 dollar a night parking spot. The manager on duty was advised and we had to come down and fix the problem. All was fix just an inconvenience.
