We always enjoy staying in this hotel. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The breakfast is always hot and fresh as is the coffee and cookies. We appreciated the loan of beach chairs and the ease of walking to the beach from the hotel.

Within my room, the floors were so dirty, that upon removing my shoes and socks at the foot of the bed and walking directly into the bathroom for a shower, my feet made black foot prints in the tub. Also, the air conditioner did not seem to be dehumidifying the air in the room and everything ( floors, furniture, bedding, towels ) felt damp.

I would like to assure you that we mop and vacuum our floors between each guest, as well the room you had stayed in had the carpet detailed and shampooed just the week before. Regarding the dampness of your room, as we are located at the beach and have been experiencing record highs of temperature and humidity, we have been fighting to get the humidity levels in the rooms under control so that everything is not damp to our guest. We have found what we believe to be a solution, but it is taking some time to implement it into all of our rooms. However, that is no excuse for our problems to impact your stay with us. Basic hotel with small but good breakfast. The house keeping was terrible. We stayed for ten days and we infrequently got new towels. A lot of the time nobody came to clean.
There were lovely homemade cookies available in the afternoon everyday and free tea and coffee all day.

Fun weekend
We had a great weekend away. Staff was great. Food was good. It’s your basic food you get at most hotels for the free breakfast. I would definitely recommend this place. For the price and location you can’t beat it. The beach is within walking distance relatively close to the historic district without all the traffic.

Suite room was OK , although had a musty smell, shower soap empty and not refilled during multiple-night stay, room was not ready at time of check-in. Good breakfast options, plenty of clean towels and staff were friendly. Overall we were happy with facility and convenience to beach and dining.

Not a repeat customer
Ac went out. Was very warm in room at checkin. Tried to turn temp down but wouldn’t cool. Left shortly after we checked in for a few hours and came back to hot room. Front desk moved us to a different room. New room bath sink had no pressure and drain wouldn’t work Very slow Rooms were very poorly lit even w multiple lamps.
