Staff is wonderful but this place is run down. Pull out couch was broken. Dust all over everything. It was nasty. This place used to be amazing and super high end. Not worth the price.

We have gone to this property even before it was Holiday Inn Express. It used to be the nicest property on Mid America Drive prky. So for about 26-28 YEARS each September we stayed there. Last 3 years, this property has not been kept up. Start with the outside. Grass brown, shrubs needed trimming, years prior the lawn even at this time of year looked like green carpet. We opened the umbrella on the patio, were swarming with yellow jackets. Our room.: very dated, chip in the porcelain tub, the toilet seat was a very cheap plastic that would slide off rim of the stool. The door had dirty hand prints inside and out. The light sconces wwe begining to rrust. The glass tops on furniture was smudged, and the remote control for the TV was sticky, dusty and looked like food by the buttons. I had to clean it off before we used it. No Ice on this floor. It was like they just stuck us there. Normally we made reservations 1 yr in advance. We WON'T ever stay here again.

The location was great but the property is very dated and in need of some repairs. I was given a room with a adjoining door. I heard the people in the other room clearly. Great if you are traveling together but we weren't.

Terrible decision!! Unclean rooms, old hotel, bad actitud from the staff, it’s not a family friendly hotel, it’s a pretty bad place

Superb service and assistance from the entire team during the threat of an imminent tornado!
The staff was fabulous in checking in guests who were seeking shelter during the threat of a tornado as well as meeting their needs.
They remained calm, collected, kind and caring throughout the evening!
I was most impressed that they had two rooms available for shelter in the event that the tornado was spotted in the vicinity!

The jet tub was big enough for two! Very quiet even with a full hotel. Room Service was quick! Baked wings were excellent!
