On Aug. 9, 2025 I stayed over at the Holiday Inn in Jasper, Tx. and experienced the worst case of discrimination I’ve ever experienced in my lifetime. I have stayed there at least 5 nights a year and sometimes a wk at a time over 12 yrs. I was in room 123 and experienced brown bath water and a broken down bed. I reported my concern and was told the mgr.(Tammy Wagstaff) would give me a call. When she called me she told me that she would be giving 5,000 pts back towards my rewards as I am a Platinum Elite member and have spent thousands of dollarsat this location. She told me I was no longer welcomed there and could not stay there anymore. I was in total dismay and asked her was she saying I could never come stay there again and her reply was “yes”. After her call, I did my research and realized I had been placed in room 123 on multiple occasions, the manager then deleted my stays that showed I stayed in room 123 but I have a copy from Nov. 2024. I reported this to their corporate office along with my photos that she refused to see and was told since they are privately owned, corporate could not help me. I am a disabled veteran who served this country honorably and former educator of Jasper ISD. I was born in the area and grew up there all my life but never have been treated like this. I guess Tammy Wagstaff (mgr) felt that brown water was fine for me and my daughter to clean our bodies in since we are Black. This is outright wrong and I would not recommend anyone to stay there ever again. I deserve a formal apology for her flagrant remarks and full access to stay here as I have done nothing wrong.

只是想给其他有小孩的家庭一个警告，这样你们就不会像我们一样盲目。在路上待了 5 个小时后，我们在感恩节前一天晚上 6:30 到达这里。把我们的东西和孩子们安顿下来，房间在二楼。我们的孩子们到处乱跑，我们接到前台康妮的电话，问我们是否可以让孩子们安静下来。挺好的。我们告诉两个大孩子（8 岁和 5 岁）安静下来，并让他们坐下来吃饭。那时，只有我们 18 个月大的孩子到处乱跑，因为他还是个婴儿，不懂“不许跑”。然后我们接到康妮的电话，非常粗鲁地告诉我们，如果她再接到投诉，她就要把我们赶出酒店。当时是晚上 7:30，她威胁要把我们赶出去。我们在那里已经待了一个小时。然后，我们抱着哭闹的 18 个月大的孩子度过了余下的夜晚，他只想四处走动，因为如果我们被赶出去，我们也没地方可去。我们确实给公司办公室打了电话，也向他们提出了投诉。但作为一个有 3 个小孩的家庭，我很讨厌我们没有能力在我们付钱的房间里放松。最令人沮丧的是，投诉来自正在为夜班休息的工人。这不是其他客人的投诉。我一般不会留下差评。但这次经历太让人紧张了，我不希望另一个家庭经历和我们一样的事情。
很棒，因为一切都按计划进行。房间很干净，我们甚至每天都得到服务。这在今天的大多数酒店中并不常见。早餐很好，很丰盛。有各种冷热食品可供选择。一切都按计划进行，所以几乎不需要工作人员的帮助。
