We spent 19 days driving all around Ireland, staying in B&B's. This was by far our favorite. Our lovely host, Doris, designed and built A.A. Her heart is evident in everything she provides her guests. The bed linens were luxurious. The public spaces for guests to use are substantial and well appointed. The food is wonderful. We were surprised to discover that not all our B&B's actually served breakfast. Doris does and it is generous and delicious. She is onsite, which not all our B&B hosts were. We will definitely return here on our next trip to Ireland.

We was made so welcome at Ard Aoibhinn by all the family, set in the beautiful countryside with the most charming local pub, Ard Aoibhinn was perfect for our 3 days trip, delicious breakfast and comfortable, clean, cosy room, comfortable bed, with tea facilities that was perfect for when we came in each day, my dad was delighted one day with home made cake, we definitely recommend staying , and we will book up for our return.

I am now at home in this BB, which had long ago been highly recommended to me by a friend. We felt like family, we felt at home straight away. Very nice exterior with lots of greenery around. Super spacious and spotless room, bathroom with shower, super fast wi-fi. Huge bed with excellent quality mattresses and pillows. Breakfast with everything you want, my wife was served smoked salmon, as she wanted. Gluten-free and lactose-free products. Truly a beautiful and unforgettable place, thank you, Doris and family, truly warm-hearted people. Ivan e Luciana

An absolutely amazing stay. Spotlessly clean. Superbly kind and welcoming. Doris and Kevin could not do enough. My only downside was I was feeling unwell with oncoming cold and migraine so spent most of the time in our room (room 2). Didn’t really have any breakfast, half a slice of toast but hubby did and he said it was fabulous. Also Kevin was a real help in finding us oil for our classic car which we needed and both him and Doris could not have been more welcoming and friendly. We will DEFINITELY be back and cannot rate highly enough. Also on arrival we were made tea and biscuits and there is a tea/coffee/etc/snack station in the main lounge. The weather was sunny and delightful and the peace and quiet was a lovely bonus. Don’t book if you want a place near nightlife and pubs. HOWEVER DO book if you want genuine, friendly, Irish hospitality, and a quiet restful nights sleep. Oh and the beds, oh the beds, so comfy and the shower was amazing. One of the first decent shower head sized showers we’ve encountered on our road trip.
