We have never chosen to stay in a place twice since there so many good places about - but this place is the exception This is our second overnight stay and we think it fantastic- there is something very very special which can’t be boxed into food staff dog friendly etc etc It is brilliant! Booked for a business/pleasure trip. The Pub is the heart of the village and serves great food, mostly locally sourced from the farm. Great quality, slightly expensive but worth it. The hotel is formed from a few character rooms and they are lovely. Yea and coffee in the room, everything you need. To top it all, there is a communal day room with a kitchen area (no cooker) that has tea, coffee and an honesty bar for wine and beer. The area is ideal for walking and guide maps are provided for a number of routes. I recommend the hedgerow walk, 3.2 miles / 1 hour and lovely sights of the surrounding area. Free use of wellies are available, but we did it in trainers. Also good for runners and cyclists. Staff are exceptional, really is a gem of a place and just 5 miles to Swindon.

We came here with high expectations for my partner’s birthday and I have to say left very disappointed. A very expensive Sunday lunch, no starters no dessert, two pints and a glass of Prosecco £93. The roast was okay but seriously lacking in quantity, and no we are not gannets! The following morning we came back for breakfast (why?) we had already booked it and we’re staying very nearby. Again a very poor breakfast with two coffees £46! We won’t be returning!

住宿体验很棒，房间位置绝佳，床超级舒服。
周边环境优美。食物非常美味，早餐尤其棒。所有食材都是自家种植的，这让人很惊喜。
周日午餐本该很热闹，结果却并非如此。我点了烤牛肉。有些菜品很棒，但也有些略显奇怪（比如小块、软糯的烤土豆和辣根酱）。素食挞也很棒。氛围与老酒馆的格格不入。年轻的服务人员工作努力。周围有很多更划算的选择。但对我来说，价格差异太大了。
总体而言，房间舒适、精致，但一旦进入房间，缺陷就显而易见。主要问题是房间太小 — — 最重要的是，相对于这个价格来说太小了 — — 只有一张双人床，对于两个人来说太小而且不舒服。当我住在这种价格更贵的地方时，我当然不希望只睡在一张双人床上。即使有这么小的床，房间里也没有多少空间，走动时感觉很拥挤。我穿 8 号的尺码，我觉得淋浴间太小（例如，洗头时，没有空间在需要时移开淋浴水流），淋浴喷头太高（似乎不可调节）。早餐 — — 我点了皇家鸡蛋。结果，它不能吃 — — 荷兰酱尝起来只有醋味。当服务员来收我们的盘子时，我告诉了她，但她没什么反应，既没有换盘子，也没有道歉，也没有人回来。显然，厨师不懂荷兰酱的制作，而且在应该品尝的时候却没有品尝。事后看来，我真应该拒绝支付早餐费用。除此之外，晚餐的食物相当乏味。我点了黑线鳕（没有裹面糊），而且服务员既没把它烤得漂亮，也没准备酱汁。我的餐点干巴巴的，没什么味道。甜点的STP几乎没有酱汁，实际上只是一块干海绵蛋糕和冰淇淋。一切都令人失望。餐厅外面看起来非常凌乱不堪。至于我们遇到的员工，他们都很好，但整个用餐体验感觉有些“零散”，感觉不太顺畅。所以，对我们来说，决定性因素是食物，以及房间的大小和床的大小，以这个价格来说。总的来说，绝对不值这个价，我们一晚住宿加餐竟然花了200多英镑。我们平时不常出门，所以本来还挺期待这次住宿的，结果却让我大失所望。
真是个好地方。酒店在农场里，房间在独立的谷仓里。改建得很漂亮，做得非常好，设施现代化。
一尘不染，是我多年来用过的最好的洗漱用品（也在出售！）。
非常注重细节、舒适度和环境。我绝对推荐在酒吧用餐，那里的大多数食物都是当地采购的。我更喜欢无肉饮食，我觉得菜单上有点红肉，但有一些素食选择，我吃的披萨很美味。早餐也很美味！
小村庄和当地乡村很适合散步。非公共福利：房间有一个公共休息室，可以放松、看书、喝一杯葡萄酒或茶、听音乐等。我喜欢这个想法，尤其是在下雨的下午。
总的来说，这是一个非常轻松的环境和愉快的体验。
