This may be our new local! We live in St.ives and always find it a mission to find a good value and nice roast dinner. We think we have found the one with the engine inn. Great value, good portions and a great place to stop for us after a bike ride. Lovely log burner and friendly staff aswell. Looking forward to trying the steak deal on a Saturday for £40 for two with a bottle of wine and the curry quizz night for £10. There aren't many places in or around St. Ives that you don't pay through the nose for and a lot of the time food is sub-par, small portions and overpriced for what it is. This little gem is wetherspoon prices with better quality food and atmosphere. You can tell they are really making a go of it and I hope it works out for them. It's also a lovely cosy old style cornish pub with a bit of history behind it. Long may it continue.

Had a great lunch with FB friends yesterday. Very welcoming Staff and delicious food - recommend the lasagne! Only downside was getting across the busy road from the Car Park

Great pub free stopover in our camper if you eat in the pub good food friendly staff great views got a taxi into st.ives would highly recommend

Sunday roast for £10 per person. What a bargain!!! - superb roast, selection of beef (this was £12) chicken, gammon on this Sunday and nice veggie and vegan option. I had chicken, partner had gammon. Homemade yorkie with all meats, great selection of veg, all plated up. Log burner all lit and nice and cosy, pool table as well. Great bar staff and waitresses, very friendly and efficient. Good atmosphere, nice and relaxed. Drinks selection is excellent. Would 100% recommend. We are regulars and the food/service on other visits has been fab Outside area is amazing and the view is something else. Would defo advise booking on a Sunday as it was very busy.

工作人员非常友好、礼貌、乐于助人，但设施有些破旧，需要好好打扫一下。床上用品和毛巾脏兮兮的，沾满污渍。没有互联网接入或公共电话。房间很宽敞，但设施很简陋。有水壶、茶、咖啡和几包饼干。
非常适合房车过夜的地方，停车位很多。工作人员非常热情友好，食物也非常棒。我们参加了酒吧问答游戏，最后得到了一袋巧克力纽扣，大家掌声雷动，PS，谢谢，哈哈。绝对会向所有房车用户和公众推荐这个地方。
我们提前打电话安排住在停车场的房车里，并提前得到了非常友好的警告，说今天是周五的鱼市 - 有炸鱼薯条/小龙虾和炸薯条或素食可供选择。当我们到达时，我们叫了一杯下午茶，令我非常高兴的是，这是一家“正宗的酒吧”。石板地板、特色特色、好啤酒、友好的女房东、房东和工作人员以及友好的当地人。我们后来回来吃饭时，炸鱼薯条非常棒 - 一大块鱼上裹着薄薄的脆面糊。我的小龙虾也很好吃。酒吧里人头攒动。很多友好、爱笑、爱聊天的当地人。我们非常享受在这里的时光。

房间很棒，舒适、温暖，所有需要的东西都有。淋浴很棒，冰箱可能有用。景色很棒，工作人员友好且乐于助人。没有晚餐，所以很失望，打包的早餐套餐一点也不好，需要一份水果和健康的选择。
