A friendly local pub. Pizza night very good value. Food tasty. Rachel made sure that we had everything we needed for a pleasant meal. Would recommend.

On visiting The Star Inn .We asked for a coffee and was told coffee machine was broken for last two weeks asked for a corona and told they didn't have any. Very little atmosphere in the bar no background music was not offered a menu. There was a local quiz being held and we weren't asked to take part. Overall would not recommend this Pub. We left and went to another Pub instead. With a better service and a smile.

Lovely meal Wednesday evening, the food seems all homemade, lovely pie and the hunters chicken is amazing! Plenty of menu options and they also do pizzas. Good range of drinks choice at the bar. The bar maid Rachel was very polite and welcoming even though she was extremely busy doing bar and floor service. Has a feel of being a locals pub rather than being full of holiday makers. Look forward to visiting again next year!

Just a small pub in a small village. But a very warm welcome, and plenty to choose from on the menu. Exactly what one needs when on holiday in out-of-the-way places!

My friend and I had two very tasty meals at the Star Inn on 17/12/24. We were served by Rachel, who I must say, was very polite, friendly and efficient; a real credit to the pub. We go to the pub fairly regularly and always receive a warm welcome - see you over Christmas!

Came here twice while on holiday. The hunters chicken was cooked perfectly and my nan and grandad had fish and chips. We also came for the Sunday roast and the meat was good. We all cleared our plates. There are lots of choices on the menu. You get a good portions for your money.
