I am very sorry that you felt you had to put such a dreadful review of our Cullen Skink on Tripadvisor, after we had addressed your disatisfaction at the time of payment. I asked if you had enjoyed your lunch and was totally taken aback when you told me that there was not enough Smoked Haddock in the bowl and it was 'dreadful'! I explained that we put 6kg of fish in each pot that we make. If only you had mentioned this to us when you had received your Cullen Skink at the table, this could have been rectified. You had eaten all of your lunch so it was difficult to understand how you found it to be unsatisfactory? I think taking £10 off your bill was very fair as you had eaten everything. One bowl did have a very small amount of potato left in the bottom! As I am sure you are aware, costs are becoming increasingly difficult to enable hospitality businesses to remain profitable. I am afraid this is what we have to charge to keep our bills paid and our 26 local employees in employment. We get a great name for our amazing Cullen Skink and I do apologise again that we did not deliver to our usual standard on this occasion.
