We had best safari experience we had was at Taj Safari at Kanha. Our naturalist Abhishek was very knowledgable showed us around. Other staff which provided fabilous service was: Saurav, Sangeeta, Chef. Nim, Sattu ji and others. Best thing was the surprise dinner arranged by Abhishek & Saurav for my daughter's birthday on 15th evening. The way it was planned & executed was excellent. He anticipated our needs before we even voiced them and took care of every detail with grace, efficiency, and genuine warmth—making us feel truly looked after at all times. The culinary experience was outstanding, thanks to Chef Gaurav and Budd Singh. Every meal was impeccable—flavorful, beautifully presented, and deeply satisfying. Dining here felt indulgent yet soulful. Special thanks to Chef Nim to satisfy my craving for momos last minute as I heard he makes the best one! Also special thanks to Chef Govind for making our anniversary night dinner at Harra so special! All meals were cooked in earthen clay pots live! A big thank you to Sattu, Dilip, and Pappu, whose constant smiles, prompt service, and dedication enhanced our stay in countless little ways that truly matter. The housekeeping team deserves special praise for their exceptional work. Walking back into our rooms every time felt like entering them anew—spotlessly cleaned, refreshed, and perfectly set, adding to the comfort and luxury of the experience. Despite being set in the heart of raw wilderness, Taj Banjaar Tola is flawlessly maintained—luxurious without disturbing the soul of the jungle. It’s rare to find a place that respects nature so deeply while offering such elevated comfort. Naturalist Sangeeta for her ever smiling and uplifting aura! We spent three nights at Banjar Tola, Kanha and absolutely loved the experience. The highlight for us was Lodge No. 8, which has a beautiful setting. The bedroom looks out onto a small stream, and beyond it the core forest begins. One afternoon we were resting in the room and watched a group of langurs playing on the rocks right below our lodge, on our side of the stream. At other times we saw deer and birds from the bed. It really felt like the forest was right there with us. The tented suite was very comfortable and well maintained, and the housekeeping and room service staff kept everything clean and tidy throughout our stay. The lodge is exceptionally well managed by Mr. Saurabh Garg. From the moment we arrived, he was personally involved—showing us the suite, checking in regularly, and making sure everything was just right. He also surprised us with two al fresco dinners, each set in a different location within the property. One was under a Mahua tree and another in a forest clearing, both beautifully lit with oil lanterns. The food was excellent, prepared by Chef Gaurav on one evening and Chef Govind on the final night. Chef Gaurav’s creativity really stood out, and it was a nice touch that he came to greet us during meals. Our safaris and other activities were led by naturalist Sangita, who is passionate, energetic, and very knowledgeable. She also took us on a nature walk and a village visit, which felt relaxed and personal rather than staged. Our butler Karan and the rest of the team—Nitendra, Dashrath, Yadav, Shankar, and others—were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Banjar Tola is a wonderful place to slow down and connect with nature, made special by the people who run it. We would happily return.

With Taj Safaris one expects the best and this Lodge fully lived upto our expectations. Superb location ***** riverbank and spread over 90 acres it is a perfect introduction to what the forest offers. The tents are commodious, air conditioned/ heated, neat and clean. The main attraction is Chef Gaurav Chauthe whose cuisine is delectable. Veg and non-veg dishes are tasty and the accent is on the local cuisine. Our local friends who we invited for dinner were full of praise for the Chef’s creations.

We had been to BT 5 years ago and had loved it then. This time around it managed to outdo itself. The rooms were updated, housekeeping was en pointe and what felt like 4 times a day, the staff in general was so courteous and efficient, the naturalist Sangitha was exceptional, the manager Saurabh was clearly captaining his ship very well, Venkatesh I'm sure had a big part to play in it too. Rajkumar our butler was the perfect mix of friendly+professional. Chef Nim's and Chef Abhishek's food hit the spot every time. And of course the jungle was breathtaking. We are such loyalists of Taj Safaris and make it a point to tell everyone we know of how a cut above the experience is. While we personally love the warmth of Taj what sets the jungle lodges apart is your naturalists. We've been to jungle properties in Rajasthan, Karnataka and others in MP as well but your naturalists take the cake. We even booked Oberoi Bandhavgarh but it felt so sanitised compared to the nature focus of Taj. Love Taj Safaris - what a brand.

We had an amazing experience during our stay at Banjaar Tola. The location is stunning, set right beside the river, but what truly made the stay exceptional was Taj’s signature hospitality. Every member of the staff was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely cared for. The rooms, service, food, and overall ambience were all top-notch. Highly recommended!

This was the first time we stayed at a Taj Jungle Resort Property. We had a wonderful experience here. The rooms were very well maintained and decorated. Though they were tented cottages, yet they were extremely comfortable and as good as a concrete structure. The entire staff was extremely customer friendly, always with a smile and very caring. We were spoiled for options for breakfast, lunch and dinner with Chef specifically preparing dishes of our choice inspite of having guests in other cottages. The naturalist for our safari was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Mr. Krishna ensured we had the best experience during the safari ride even though it was raining and went out of the way to ensure we could get a good view of a Tiger. The unique way of the staff welcoming every time with all of them standing at the resort entrance and waving their hands, whenever we came to the resort either the first time, when we returned from safari or checkout and left the resort was outstanding.
