What a lovely BnB, charming room and lovely touches to make stay very special. Continental breakfast prepared by Kirsten who couldn’t do enough for us, such a wonderful experience and we thoroughly recommend a stay at The old Manor House BnB

Nice village setting
This B&B is in a nice setting. Although it’s on the main road, it’s quite set back and the pub being just opposite this makes for a lovely combination. There is also a convenience store along the road if you wanted to get a morning newspaper etc. The room was very spacious which was nice. Just had to be careful of the beams.
The only thing I didn’t enjoy personally was that the owner was quite headmistress like in terms of rules and what she wanted, which basically made us feel like kids being told off, which is not something I want when paying £118 for an overnight stay, but my partner says that perhaps B&Bs are not for me. Back to standard hotels I think….

酒店回复: I am truly sorry that you felt I treated you like kids. This was not my intention and the furthest from my mind. I am not sure what you refer to exactly but it may be that I asked for a detailed arrival time as I had a function to go to or that I asked you to be mindful of turning lights out when not in the room. I enjoyed meeting you and wish you A Happy Christmas. I responded to you personally too but post this online for clarity and the fact that I have taken onboard your issues.

Nice place to stay. Very comfy bed. Room very nicely done. Kerstyn very friendly and accommodating. Continental breakfast was excellent. I enjoyed it compared to a cooked breakfast. Drinks, tv in room. Nice pub across the road. Sevenoaks and Bromley are not far from the b and b. Otherwise not much to do in the evening except to relax and chill.

Greatly enjoyed my 2 night stay. House full of character and Kerstin was a perfect hostess. Room very comfortable and offered all the amenities one could require. Within easy striking distance of many attractions, particularly liked Chiddingstone and Penhurst as well as Chartwell which greatly improved with timed entry. Easy free parking across the green at The White Hart - highly recommended. An enormous conker tree and village pump on the green. Breakfast delightfully enjoyable. Would highly recommend and will be back.

A very warm welcome here. This 15th Century building really has soul. What a pleasure to stay here and handy parking and relationship with the White Hart, across the road. The location next to the village green is ideal. A very substantial continental breakfast served.

We stayed 3 nights with Kerstin and had a really good time. We did opt to make our own bed up each day and Kerstin advised that no one would enter our room - ok by us! Breakfast was continental but we opted for Cereal and toast only with the obligitory pot of Tea! Parking is accross the road or in a side road, but no problem. It is near a main road however so is most peoples homes, so no problem. Overall an enjoyable stay . P.S. We hope you find your mobile Kerstin :-)

Old English meets Swedish style and the cottage nestled on the side of the village green. We loved our very spacious room, the way everything was designed/ decorated. Breakfast was excellent and our host very welcoming and helpful.

Wow, just wow, from the initial booking I received a very gentle call from the host Kerstin introducing herself and her B&B, a lovely touch. As a host this lady is as lovely and professional as all the previous reviews have mentioned. This 15th century home in this beautiful village is quintessentially English, low ceilings and fantastic oak beams. The double room pretty much cannot be described in words, it is something truly comfortable and if you are in the area book yourself a night, it really is that nice. Breakfast , off the chart, Kerstin is a real treat and super hospitable. Can’t wait for a chance to return.
