I had a wonderful stay. Very peaceful, beautiful home, with lovely hosts. I wish that I could have stayed longer. My room was so cozy with the fire and private porch. Very nice breakfast.

We stayed in the magnolia suite with our pups. Everything was perfect! Goody bags for the pups, coffee, tea, & sweets. Breakfast was amazing! Highly recommend! Thank you to the owners!

This was our second stay at The Claiborne Bed and Breakfast. We love the accommodations and breakfast was really good. Robin is a great hostess with attention to detail. We have booked two more reservations. We highly recommend for an enjoyable stay.

A lovely B&B. Innkeeper Robin could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Clean & comfy, great breakfast. Loved that there were instruments for the playing. Walking distance to shops & restaurants. We went to Anastasia's Speakeasy for drinks & dinner & loved it.

First and foremost, Robin, the owner was the sweetest, most gracious host!! We were late in arriving due to a missed flight and she was amazing in communication and understanding. She was a wealth of knowledge of the area as to where to eat and explore the Rocky Mount area and Smith Mountain Lake. The house took you back in time, beautifully decorated and charming!! Last but not least, the morning breakfasts were delightful. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for a fabulous stay, Robin!

We spent one night in the Bunting Room at the Clairborne. The owner, Robin, was very friendly and made a delicious breakfast, tastefully presented at the dining room table with lovely china. The house is beautifully furnished and decorated, and our room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. There is a nicely landscaped side yard which we didn't use, but it had a fire pit and a barbecue area.
