My girlfriend and I stayed for a night in the fall and were absolutely blown away. The Inn is so well-kept and the owners clearly treat it with care. The food is great and the interior is comfortable. The grounds are stunning. The staff is also very friendly. I recommend it in the highest terms.

In a region renowned for its splendid country inns, we have visited many over the last 50 years and this is one of the best. It scores very high points on many criteria - it’s stunning remote location, its quaint historic design, its expert and experienced leadership, its outstanding food and service, its child friendliness, ample parking, nearby hiking trails accessible without driving, great grounds, stunning sun sets & much more.

What a quaint inn to get away from it all! Breakfast was amazing and the grounds are beautiful. Cell service in the area is fairly nonexistent but the house has WiFi to make communicating possible if needed. No air conditioned but with fans the room cooled down fairly quickly after dark. It is a place to get away and enjoy the outdoors. Hiking trails close by and all kinds of cool waterfalls to explore. Near some delightful little Vermont towns and beautiful gap roads. And the Innkeeper was wonderful!

I have never felt so at home when I was away from home. Shari is a wonderful host. Very much a Vermonter that warms to you over time. Every evening when I walked through the front door I wanted to shout out "I'm home!" just to let her know I was home safely. We were staying at the inn while attending a wedding at Camp Thorpe just down the road. The rooms are clean and fresh with a real Vermont homey feel. The quilts are nice and heavy and the heaters in the room are very quiet. Great if like me you love peace and quiet. If you like white noise, bring your own, or open the windows a bit and listen to the bubbling brook (Erliblue Room) Also, there are no TV's in the room which added to the homey feel (I don't like TV's in a bedroom). Coffee and Tea available whenever you want and yummy homemade chocolate chip cookies. Probably the favorite part of the stay was the homemade, farm to table, breakfast every morning. A frittata with tomatoes, zucchini and goat cheese and fresh herbs, maple smoked bacon, and paired with fresh cut up fruit, plain yogurt and homemade granola our first morning. Oh and a blueberry muffin! On Sunday we had Blueberry pancakes with REAL Vermont maple syrup, fried egg, and locally sourced sausage. Again we had the fruit and yogurt as well and a herb biscuit. All home cooked, just like Mom would make. Would I go back, DEFINITELY!!!

We had stayed here during the winter when we went to the area for cross country skiing. It's cozy and charming in the winter and the food was outstanding. But now the grounds are beautiful with lots of wildflowers and shrubs blooming, and great mountain views, One night we had the bistro dinner, a fabulous 3 course meal, locally sourced and/or home grown. One night we had outdoor pizza with wonderful salad, beverages and ice cream with homemade chocolate chip cookies while enjoying a local music group. The breakfasts were also innovative and delicious. The Inn is lovely - nice rooms with ensuite baths - and several inviting rooms to hang out in. The staff is friendly and very competent.

Immersive and restorative, we experienced Green Mtn authenticity at it's finest. If you want to take a Vermont view of the world, it is the quintessential definition of place. For us, Blueberry Hill Inn has as much magic as anywhere I've ever been. There wasn't a single moment when we were there that we even thought of some place else, 🙏🙏🫐🫐🥳😎🤙 ***Also everyone says it's too far yet just about 20 minutes from Middlebury!!
