My wife and I had an A+ experience at the Thorp House Inn. I had never been to Door County before and we lucked out picking this spot, as the Thorp House Inn is the place we'd pick again when we come back. It's quiet and comfortable yet within a short walking distance of shops and restaurants in lovely Fish Creek. Our room (Everil) was excellent. It had charm and character. The service was friendly and high-end while also being relaxed, which fits our vibe. We enjoyed chatting with other guests at breakfast. The amenities are well-thought-out and everything on the grounds was in good condition. We look forward to coming back in the future!

This beautifully appointed inn always provides a peaceful place to appreciate all that Door County has to offer...great restaurants, hiking in all the parks, meeting friends and enjoying the local shops. This year was our first fall visit after several years visiting the inn in the spring. The fall colors were at at their peak and breathtaking. At sunset we returned to cosy fireplaces, cookies with tea and a welcoming attentive staff. Every visit, every detail is at.its best, We so appreciate having this place as our retreat from everyday life. We have already reserved for next year! Katherine and Howard Feldman

My husband and I stayed here on our mini-moon. We stayed in the Everil Room which was very private. We had our own staircase to the room and a private balcony. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was super friendly. We were also within walking distance to food and shops. Would highly recommend!

Doesn’t get much better. Super clean, crazy cute, uber cool friendly staff. Located just a hop, skip and jump from the ***** and water. I sat on that big front porch every morning as they brought me coffee and a hot breakfast. Like I said in the review, FIRST CLASS.

We stayed here for a week and loved every minute of it! We stayed in The Emma room, and it was lovely! The room was spacious with a separate sitting area and large bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. I liked that downstairs there was a fridge, microwave, glasses etc. for guest use. It was nice to be able to bring back leftovers and have some place to keep them cold. The owner has done a beautiful job in remodeling this beautiful old home. The furniture are all antiques, and the small touches like paintings, wall decor and beautiful crystal and porcelain pieces everywhere finish off the feeling you are in a real home. We hope to come back next year.

Gorgeous place with a prime location. The everil, where we stayed, has a king bed, fireplace, two person jetted tub, private balcony, and private entrance. The breakfast was outstanding and the staff and owner made your stay feel special.

This is such a quaint and beautiful inn in the heart of Door County. I loved the character of the house and rooms. The staff were so nice and the room I stayed in was spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious. It was also right in town so I could walk to alot of different places. I would definitely stay here again!

The room was beautifully decorated with period antiques. Our room was in the front with a beautiful view over Fish Creek and the bay. Breakfast was great with a large table that people gathered. The food was very good. We enjoyed celebrating the new year there.

This s was my second time staying at the cottages. Our place was a cute and quaint cottage. Very clean. Easy check in. It was the perfect location and stay for a girls’ weekend!
